The one i show is a 1.8T auto example with turbo replacement,power is over 200hp biggrin.gif
Not bad for a sissy car actually laugh.gif
Plus the boost come in early so this car is very streetable
I think yellow hard to combine
but thing with beetle is hard to find a rim suitable for it rclxub.gif

One need to realise that CBU cars if manufactured in Europe are subject to strict EU regulations on environment conservation.

So 90% of the plastic/fiber components for the interior are degradable material. Even the glue used.

Probably certain interior parts would start falling apart after 10 yrs.

darlyn: so have you bought your beetle?

the 1.6 is really underpowered

i have found a few 2.0 yr 00 to 01 onwards... selling at 80K++

i think its wiser to get a used one

Just drove a brand new 1.6 today... just have a short drive since is not my car.. wrote a very very mini 1st impression on the new Beetle. Hopes will have another opportunity to properly test it again before the actual fair comments / review for it.
