In F6, say if one is employed as an employee of Petronas, and were sent to overseas to perform employment there, will the employment income still deemed derived in Malaysia ?
*
I think it will be taxable under :

13(1)(a)
13(2)© Overseas Duties (Incidental to exercising an employment in Malaysia)

Edit: Yes.

Is there a way to not pay the tax, legally I might add ?
I am thinking of asking the office in the overseas to pay for the wages,
instead of paying through the main office in Malaysia?
Is that possible ?

sad.gif I don't have firm answer to your question. But im interested to know too. Hope someone who knows will be posting up soon.

Talking about text books, do you guys fully rely on them or more towards lecturer notes ?

besides that, which text book provider do you think is better compare to another (BPP, kaplan, GTG ...etc) ?

Greetings,
I have 2 questions here to ask.

This SS taken from jobstreet as i'm trying to fill up a complete resume there. I'm now pursuing level 2 of ACCA. Therefore it is equivalent to UK degree as i know. As it is stated in my college's brochure :- Examination at this stage will be set at a level equivalent to the final examinations of a UK degree.

Q1 : To be precise, which one i should select for the Highest qualification column (Course currently pursuing) ?
Q2 : What about the professional certification area? Anything to do with ACCA which i should/can fill in ?

Edit : Thanks

I am not good at describing how good or how bad spencer is. i will rank him as 8/10marks. I've been attending his class for F9.

However my friend who attended his F7 says he is quite good.

This may be an old rule but I need to ask for clarification.

Let say I took F1 F2 and F3 but then I failed let say F2. Do I need to reseat F1 and F3?

Is it also the same for  Skills Papers(F4 until F9) or even Professional  Papers(P1 until P7)?
Thank you in advance.
*
You just needed to resit for the paper which you failed.

Taking F4 & F8 is stricly non advisable since its quite unorthodox fo a student to choose 2 purely theory paper in a single seating (I have endured all 3 core paper & its a very stressful journey).

Just dont bring out another combo of not taking F4.  icon_rolleyes.gif

doh.gif I am planning to take F4 F7 F8 this semester.

Anyone can define what is qualifying assets?

A qualifying asset is an asset that takes a substantial period of time to get ready for its intended use or sale?
