Its a bug. I encountered it many times and in the end I just gave up trying to figure out how to solve it and just reset my default memory for SMS to the Phone Memory instead. I think it happens when an application is accessing the memory card at the same time we receive the message but this is only my observation, this however does not occur consistently, so who knows?

want to ask about garmin..
i have successfully installed garmin..
i can run it..but it will hang after seaching gps device..
sometime i can enter setting..
but then it will hang there olso..
any suggestion?
TQ

Never happened to me. Garmin hanging when using and then calls coming in or with other applications running in background happens sometimes due to insuficient memory resources. For your case, it might be best if you try reinstalling Garmin and try again. Maybe get another copy of Garmin.

I'm using it, its ok for something that costs RM15. Yes it bulks up the phone but it fits nicely and serves its purpose of protecting the casing well. However, the drawback is it is somewhat difficult to press the physical keys on the phone (call/menu/hangup buttons) and dust gathers as well between where the casing covers parts of the phone screen.

I now have a question bout transferring SMSes...I managed to backup the SMSes from my Nokia N70 but when I restored it to the 5800, the SMSes all went into the Drafts folder instead of Inbox...Anyone know how to transfer SMSes to the Inbox?

I guess what he means is the silicon is so thick that you'll feel like you're pressing an 'underground' button...instead of something that's supposed to be bulging upwards.

For example...take a look at your power button and camera button wink.gif

I just had my 5800 LCD screen changed at NCC yesterday.

After that I noticed some sort of horizontal lines.
From far it looks fine but when u look close enough u'll notice it.
I'm 100% sure those lines arent there on my previous screen.

Anybody who had thier screen changed experiencing the same thing?
