have a question here, how to connect tube to the no kia pc suite in the computer using bluetooth ? i searched the nokia forums and no answer is provided. I have a bluetooth adapter already but when i click the bluetooth option, it said it needs the required hardware or something. any other methods ?? currently i have Blue Soleil but i cant seem to connect adn transfer files...only manage to do this once last week. I have no problem transferring files to other hps.

lol too long ??
*
Nokia PC Suite has all the necessary drivers for bluetooth connection and should connect via bluetooth without much problems. Perhaps you can check your Settings in Nokia PC Suite, it could be an incompatability with Blue Soleil (Blue Soleil has it's own file transfer protocols etc.). Anyway, go to the Blue Soleil website and follow their instructions:

Yes you are right. Currently the 5800 is not a multi-touch device but there are some developers are experimenting on it.

another question here,

when i bought the phone, the guy offered me to install Garmin full edition for additional RM60.00 .. the garmin *AHEM version claimed by them will be locked and unable to use after period of 2-3months...

so how do we really differentiate the full functional version if i paid RM60 for it? just worried i paid RM60 but end up getting another *AHEM version..

PS: reporting in new red tube user here.. bought it in HP fair for rm1230.00
*
They're conmen. They are also selling the "AHEM" version. Original Garmin XT is RM3xx++ Don't pay them. Better Google, save money same result.

is is the v21 changed the font as well it look nice?
*
Have been trying to get more info on the v21, no one seems to know whether its the real deal or not, some speculate the video is a beta tester testing out the new firmware. Personally I feel that there will be a new firmware out soon because Nokia has to work out most of the bugs of the OS before N97 is launched. The 5800 after all is the "beta" for N97.

do upgrading firmware will cause problem with garmin or etc?
*
No. The latest firmware updates protect user files, so all your applications should work, although there may be some bugs for some appplications due to compatability issues with the latest firmware. Generally, there is very little problems to applications like Garmin.

oh ok . but now i browse map . it show Garmin Europe . why ah ?
*
Don't worry, that's because the base settings for the Garmin you d/l is Europe, once you get your first lock everything will work perfectly. Have you loaded in the Malaysia map?

hey.....lately i've been getting these when i receive sms "unable to access selected memory, msg will be stored in phone memory"....n its kinda annoying

i tried soft reset the phone, format the microSD, reinstalling the microSD......
wat is wrong with the phone? any1 facing the same problem? how to resolve the issue?
*
Its a bug. I encountered it many times and in the end I just gave up trying to figure out how to solve it and just reset my default memory for SMS to the Phone Memory instead. I think it happens when an application is accessing the memory card at the same time we receive the message but this is only my observation, this however does not occur consistently, so who knows?

want to ask about garmin..
i have successfully installed garmin..
i can run it..but it will hang after seaching gps device..
sometime i can enter setting..
but then it will hang there olso..
any suggestion?
TQ

Never happened to me. Garmin hanging when using and then calls coming in or with other applications running in background happens sometimes due to insuficient memory resources. For your case, it might be best if you try reinstalling Garmin and try again. Maybe get another copy of Garmin.

how was it? from the pic, it made the phone slightly bulky
*
I'm using it, its ok for something that costs RM15. Yes it bulks up the phone but it fits nicely and serves its purpose of protecting the casing well. However, the drawback is it is somewhat difficult to press the physical keys on the phone (call/menu/hangup buttons) and dust gathers as well between where the casing covers parts of the phone screen.

I guess what he means is the silicon is so thick that you'll feel like you're pressing an 'underground' button...instead of something that's supposed to be bulging upwards.

For example...take a look at your power button and camera button wink.gif

got sweat proof bt wireless headset?
*
Sweat proof is relative. I have a Motorokr S9 which is supposedly sweat proof but I've sent it 3 times for warranty claims and for replacement because the controls shorted out because of my excessive sweating! So unless you sweat very little, I suggest stick to the wired variaties of BT.

Need your advice. In my tube v20, my qwerty (full & mini) has a line of numeric button display above the alphabets. However, I saw some of my friend's tube doesn't has that numeric button displayed.

To key in numeric, he has to switch to numbering mode. Is this configurable by settings?
*
Confirm mine is like your friend's how come you have the line of numeric buttons above the alphabets?
