I plan to go down south to Nagoya for a 3D/2N trip but then when I check the weather forecast; it's either rain or thunderstorm for the next 10 days!!!    I scared I mentah-mentah go there stuck inside the hotel for 3 days...

Hi guys. I need some suggestions about shopping place in Tokyo. My fren will go to Japan this October n right now he really need to buy a new camera, DSLR to be specific. I suggest him to just buy it in Japan once he got there but he argue with me that the price is not that different. Is it true? He aims for a below rm1.6k DSLR. Really need ur help here...

Emm....So far i Go Japan 3 times...I go in Biz or Yodobashi the price is same...The games and PC software so far I buy in Japan all price are same comparing the both .....even on online store i compare it also same

Heh The games I buy is ぼくは航空管制官３...the price is fix on 7780yen ..no matter what shop you go....so i ends up buy at Biz Camera because near to my Hotel........Ikebukoro Crowne Plaza Metropolitan Hotel  ...Emm August 31 i might go japan again buy newest ぼく管3 仙台空港...price is fix also 7780Yen...i think i also will buy a Biz Camera also

Unless you dun go those megamall...on side of the Road small shop maybe the price will diffrent or those mini stall on road side also..

Well, I guess students in Japan like to compare prices before hunting the items down, network of information on cheap things and yummy food, you really gotta ask students. And might as well, students here with different network of information too, private fee students and the Government Paid students (JPA), with pocket money around 100,000yen (~RM3600) per month. Some of the government fee students even manage to buy car here enjoy life here, that's how tax payers' money goes.

Well, perhaps that's really a gap between students and workers like you said. Until each of them join their world will understand more. You will never know the life of private students and JPA students here.

Private students strive to live here by working part time almost daily. While JPA students may go have fun around, of course not all JPA students do that, some still go for part time. But, in somehow, easy money, easy go.

Tokyo to buy car for part time? JR is every where, train stations is every where. Is about makan angin with the car.

Well few years back there was news in MY saying that JPA students doing luxury life in overseas but then the debate just gone with the wind like other cases.

At least 100,000yen per month. Mostly cook together may save alot. Tution fee is paid seperately. The 100,000yen per month is solely pocket money. Driving license? Just bring a MY driving license and convert it to JP license, with condition of the MY license must be at least 3 months old. Luxury life driving car to work part time, while majority other Japanese youngsters ride a scooter or bike to work part time. Sometimes the Japanese students tell me MY government fee student is rich enough, the answer to them, well, of course.

Anyway, off topic, well, TS, there is 1 information you missed I guess. Tourist or visitors can get the JR weekly pass or monthly pass with certain price which I forgot, and they can use it in every public transport like Touch n Go. The validity of this information need to be confirm.
