Hahaha. I knew you guys would wanna poison me. But i'm lactose intolerant. hahaha. Anyway those DD trucks really define the history of USA. The milk trucks have changed a lot nowdays. But its better to collect those trucks because of history rather than collecting it by kilograms. shakehead.gif

-- (And who made up this thing that the heavier the car the more its worth?) I see a lot of collecting guides, nothing seems to indicate the heavier the vehicle, it will appreciate to higher price. hmm.gif

lol.. where did u get that? i got a theory but then again, scalper might misuse the info. lol..

No really, i have time and time again read here and HWCM about big sized cars and metal based cars. And then the magic words come up,

- Its heavy, this is a keeper.
- this one would be expensive later on because its heavy.
- Not nice never mind, so long its heavy.

I'm not making this up. Really. So is there any backing to those words? If it does, next time i'm buying cars by the kilo and not by their presence. High resale value brother! hahaha.

Qombee, It does not look like a 56 Merc. In fact strangely i saw a real white restored one this afternoon at Puchong! It doesn't look like this, especially the rear section.

Last week Friday on labour day i went to Pyramid, nothing. Saturday went to Mid Valley, nothing. Sunday went to KL Golden Triangle area, nothing. So in 3 days not even a single new 09 wave car! Also quite a number of Midnight Otto can be seen. 3 packs are available easily, but some are not combo'ed nicely. hmm.gif

Kurz, those haul in KL or some other state?

Ok .. just curious.. what HW casting do u collector collect?

I collect most of the one with nice tempo and sporty cars.. but u all know that i primary collect DD. I also collect AA (asphalt assault) and CC (custom cougar)

So how bout u guys? I mean SPECIFICALLY what casting u looking forward to buy? Dont say general maker like Ferrari, Honda and so on cause so many model in there. Try at least 1 casting, if more the better.

Yur turn.

Mine is very specifically muscle cars. Stangs, Camaros, Baracudas, Superbird, GTX, Javelin, blah blah, the works. Hardly any Ferraris except 288GTO.

If there is one, it has to be 67" Mustang. And only the 67 Mustang. For many obvious reasons. The car is somewhat sytled by the Italians and powered by USA. hahaha. Another history lesson. Well i like it for its looks. It ages very well. Long bonnet, low angle rear swoop, flat squat rear, hooded front lamps, wide exposed front grille and many more. This car is what everyone know as Eleanor. I don't care it is an Eleanor because that car is modified.

The real GT500 in its stock form is the best. I'm really looking to get one in this years HW release. It is a design study really. And it hell look like a relative to the Ferarri 288GTO. Which unfortunately because of this post might prompt many to get it. It actually arrived in stores in 3 packs that is yellow color. I missed that out because the other 2 cars that are packed in it isn't attractive. But only 1 week both the packs are gone. Indicating this car is going to be hot. Regret didn't hoard them. I wish it was a lot like what if being offered in 08' 65 Mustang fastback.

Is that detailed? hehehe

At the rate it dissapeared from the 3 packs in quite ugly yellow color, it doesn't bode well. I do have 2 Maisto Pro Rodz ones. But i really want this Hw one. Hope they have a lot of it like the 65 fastback stang. wish wish wish.
