shortcut buttons are similar to how KOF 98 was employed the L and R buttons to specials and supers. I'm guessing that's the case. It is actually fun, though may be a little cheap.
SF4 couldn't really do that because the game centers on a 6 button layout. so, all buttons would have been filled with the necessary button to be pressed (Except for PPP and KKK to be a shortcut for an ultra). So, it is great for me that this game has it (TBH, i won't be using it). Its just for fun and sumtimes for a good laugh too. |

QUOTE(Sora @ Jun 29 2009, 10:16 AM) What to do wei, I've been waiting for this game for half a year ! I know. That's why its good for you to be doing so. And I've been playing GG since GGXX This is the only fighting game which I really adore. I played SF then and I find it a little too slow paced. Yes, because it's made by the same people who did Guilty Gear. And don't worry, this game is newbie friendly like what nwk mentioned in the previous page(I think) that there's shortcuts for the moves. Even if you're a newbie at this game, you can button mash from what I can see. >__> lol |

In that case, best to get a normal HRAP3. At least the buttons are available with quick disconnects. That way, you can change the buttons to Sanwa ones, if the condition requires for you to do so.

Actually, a stick is necessary if you wanna go really hardcore. But if you wanna play it casually, a DS3 is actually enough.
Pulling off flashy combos will require you a stick. You will also need some skills in maintaining it, and that can be learned online. |

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jul 1 2009, 03:23 PM) Fighting stick even more expensive.... Well, that's how I see it lah actually. How am I gonna pull off Ragna's insane chain? Note to remember: Take a deep breath everytime you get own'd badly to avoid destroying your DS3. Added on July 1, 2009, 3:24 pm Eh? Not true. |

Actually, on a personal opinion, fighting games that I've played with a Keyboard yields better results than a controller. That's how I gathered.

If the fans here are positive, the count of people buying this game is lesser than SF4, ngam2 1/3 of the people who bought SF4.
