QUOTE(Acrisius @ Jul 25 2009, 11:03 PM) This Wiggy package was targeted more on business purpose. As the price was high and quota was so insufficient. 10GB how could be enough for Home users. If you just meant to have a light usage of internet at home, you better think for cheap package even you don't need so high speed. There is a Wiggy 69 package. You can now touch my Wiggy anywhere, everywhere with a 69. (*sounds sexual*) |

QUOTE(xdsl @ Jul 26 2009, 04:51 AM) even now not 100% coverage....after all covered up, sure u will get more powerful disconnect connection. You will still get disconnection no matter what.UNTIL p1 do something massive change to their service provided. Remember, Once you leave one base station to connect the other base station, there'll be a disconnection no matter how. |

Hi SilviaSS,
I am not the rep but a frequent broadband user. I had stopped trusting promoters and resellers since I first signed up for Streamyx. Note: You should check the coverage map, because the coverage map produce the most accurate results for the coverage area. I am suggesting the sales girl is a reseller's promoter. Never trust the resellers, because, they don't care who you are as long as they get sales because sales = profit, talk = no profit. I think your case is quite similar to this: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=27649649 Besides, I would blame the reseller first for being unethical. No doubt that there are misconduct on the reseller side for misleading the coverage area. I think you did quite alot of case study, so I am trying to be specific with you. If you are going to send a complain letter, please, complain about the Reseller's company and not P1. Case Study: If I am owner of a condo, I lease it to the "resellers" to sell the block off. The reseller sweet talk stating that there will be gym and swimming pool where I did not state such thing. You are the customer and not happy about it after you bought the condo. I gave you the 'geran rumah' [receipt]. You are not happy and want to complain. I bet you will lose if you complained about the wrong person. The person whom you should be complaining would be the "reseller". I hope you understand what I mean. I hope you get your rebate soon. This post has been edited by HeHeHunter: Aug 3 2009, 07:29 PM |

QUOTE(patrickl33 @ Aug 4 2009, 09:29 AM) Sigh I'm very dissapointed with P1 wimax.. Not only they didn't provide good connection, didn't provide good service.. and now they even try to cheat my money.. Do you have any proof that he said so?I started to apply P1 sometime in oct last year.. everything is fine( other than frequent disconnect) till May, the online game that I play for 5 years can't connect anymore. They block certain ports and refuse to open them for me. The engineer told me I can terminate the line withouht paying the penalty and he WILL make note that I don't have to pay. I have double confirm by calling the customer service before. So i went to terminate the line end of May. After 3 months, i received a bill asking me to pay the penalty, I called up P1 wimax customer service last night, she said there's no record saying i can terminate the line withouht paying penalty. This is totally BS... They charging me rm600+ for some BS reason. If not, you can never argue that. |

QUOTE(SilviaSS @ Aug 4 2009, 09:14 PM) And bro hunter, not to argue or anything . But refer to your case study. Good one.1) When a client want to buy condo and ended up that the he don't get all other facility. Well at least he still get a condo right. On my case, the reseller promise me they will be a condo when I pay, but end up there is only a pieces of geran with a unbuild condo. ( A receipt but no service). If I did able to get connection but the connection is slow or not on to the referring speed. Then yes, you case study does represent the scenario. 2) On reseller/s, there are two way I view P1 in handling the reseller. (A) THe company does not come to know that its reseller are using tricks to conned people into his/her trap despite numerous complaint/talkabout. (B) The company did know that the reseller are using conned way to trick people into in but since the more people that sign up the better because it need that quota to show the government that there are growing and able to maintain the wi-fi license. 2. I believe is A because... my friend went to apply P1, when he get to know that he is not in coverage area, the promoter stopped promoting. So, yours is trap by the reseller. Anyway, hope you get your rebate. |

QUOTE(AaronLooi @ Oct 8 2009, 09:42 PM) Just subscribed P1WiMax few days ago. Kindly note that P1 is a wireless broadband. However, i get 3 digits ping (150-250ms) to TeamFortress 2 starhub(SG server) & eclub servers(M'sia server) I'm quite disappointed with the ping. Any thing that i can do to reduce the ping? Thanks in advance You should know this when you speedtest at the P1 reseller. Added on October 9, 2009, 1:28 am QUOTE(Razer1911 @ Oct 7 2009, 07:00 PM) Are you sure that's P1's problem? I would suggest that maplesea's server is congested instead. Do correct me if I am wrong. QUOTE(Naoko Kensaku @ Oct 9 2009, 08:09 AM) Razer: I can confirm it's a Maplesea problem that one. My bro on Steamnut also take quite long to download that game. By right, whenever there's a firmware update, the modem was supposed to update the firmware first before connecting.P1, if you guys updated firmware and my firmware is still showing last update in March, I can bring the modem for you guys to update, right? But for your case, I have no idea why your firmware still say March. This, you need to check with them. |

QUOTE(AaronLooi @ Oct 14 2009, 07:30 AM) everything back to normal after leaving it on for 1 night I think you are talking about ping here.anyway dear p1 rep, i wonder y i'm getting high to malaysia online games although i'm getting strong signal(green) from the network You need to understand that Wimax is a wireless technology, therefore, it takes a longer response time from server to you, thus the higher ping than landlines. |
