its thin, but at least i done both things at one time.save my time.and it will be good if everytime u go out in the rain, u clean ur car when u reach home.easier to maintain.

*
wanna ask...if we wax the car normally...
do we need to wax it again the next time we wash the car?

i'm planning to get solid white, how do i maintain so my paint will look as shiny as possible?
*
wax oftenly so that the shiny-ness won't fade, peotect the paint...otherwise it will become normal paint back

i'm interested in purchasing a BLM within the 2nd half of this year.  I will be choosing the Metallic Auto version.  This is because I have not driven for nearly 3 years and a manual would be a bit hard to familiarize again.

Is the Auto version severely underpowered and is there unusually high petrol consumpiton for it?
*
not really....depends on your right leg...because this car is drive-by-wire, not the old style anymore
manual is more save but our member like to rev high2.....

Lets say i get a solid white paint, then i wanna change it to metallic colour in the future, how much will it normally cost?

because for MT metallic and solid paint differs about RM 2000
*
from my opinion lah....if u want metallic paint in the future...i would recommend u just directly get metallic
it's very troublesome for u to find cheap paint and respray it is gonna cost almost the same also

Greetings SiuYi,
Does it mean that in order to maintain the Solid White car body, I will need to spend money on waxing it ? .. Once it is being waxed, will the effect shines something like a metallic car ? ..
I am currently planning to get Solid White, easier for Bodykit modification I presume. hmm.gif
*
ya...have to spend money...DIY waxing
waxing is to protect your paint from fading....make the paint look like the 1st time u take the car....shiny
cuz solid paint is normal paint....it's not suppose to shine...so u need to protect it

Currently I was thinking to choose in between Solid and Metallic paint. Which one to go for .. coz Metallic seems to easily get dirty as well if parked outside exposed to the weather. unsure.gif
*
i dn't think it's a matter of solid or metallic paint lah
it's the paint itself easy dirty.....i dn't why also car nowadays the paint really easy to get dirty
just look at vios black....very easy to get dirty...right?
so if dn't want to get dirty easy..get another colour...like silver or blue...not very easy to get dirty
black nowadays dust also can see clearly.....lol

I'm wondering about the price as well ... whether to wax on my own or pay for the service. sweat.gif
Got no experience in waxing either ..
*
ask someone to wax for u is gonna cost u a bomb/ blow a hole in your pocket...it's at least RM100
wax yourself is cheapest
just apply it using a sping in a turning sequence.....let it dry...use another cloth to wipe of the dried wax or dust
this is how i do it
it's really tiring and time consuming....but at least u save money

wah..means pour the wax and wipe it in circular motion then only use another cloth to complete the waxing process??...for me i straight wipe all using same cloth... doh.gif  ...gonna try ur way... brows.gif
*
ya.....pour abit to a sponge and do it in circular motion....1 small part by 1 part
use another clean cloth to wipe it off after dry.........i dn't need to worry cuz i use sponge
if u use cloth from start....better use another dry and clean cuz scare the wax on the cloth haven't dry yet mah....wipe=never wipe

so means that, the cushion seats for BLM is not yet to be confirmed as the batches may differ for the head cushion, right?aduh..then how we gonna buy those cushion covers ler???
*
just order it from the cushion shop...just say new saga...they sure know
but since the size change...they may have to remeasure it again to ensure......thn they will make it based on your size
but if those that sold in supermarket one....maybe abit dangerous to buy...scared the size won't fit cuz the producer dn;t know yet

how much usually cost?
*
why u wanna tint the rear lamp?
it's gonna make the brake light harder to see...isn't it?
smoke lamp mean spray the internal with black paint...not apply 1 layer of tint
the shop that apply 1 layer of tint on it is cheating customer cuz they dn't know
