msi DDR2 boards sarks... but their gd70 is quite impressive...

msi non plat series boards aren't really meant for oc... only 2 choices for me, either dfi or biostar, mite consider gaygaybite if d bios is ok. msi & asus is a no no...

try older version then, 2.1.4 worked flawlessly w/ my beloved 790fxb... almost eveything is on d fly except ram divider & nb multi.

i'm not sayin that biostar can't clock as well as dfi, but u need lotsa skills + tonnes of knowledge. why not go for D easier way...

no doubt bios oc is d way, but aod does make life easier, imagine increasin volt one notch at a time requires one reboot, so many voltages w/ d possibilities of more than one notch needed...

imo compatibility w AOD got something to do w bios if u put aside d version of aod.

like it or not, d problem lies within d board... that is why i've been promotin so hard... i'm actually doin u guys a favor but none of u appreciate my efforts...

moderate, safe for hours of bench but not 24/7 (personal preference only). hope to see 3.8GHz achieve w/ < 1.4v, some burn in mite helps...

prime95, do long hours of burn in like 12hours or more (need stable clock obviously).

or join bro -pWs- to become a professional folder, at least runnin f@h not totally wastin electricity unlike p95...

depends on d thickness of ya wallet, there are always risks involved in unlockin. u need a above average board to have it run @ decent clock (w/ 4 cores ofcoz) as well...

yes, but i was stuck @ 3.3GHz only... but to be fair i only got 6 hours (minus d 2 hours prime so that make it 4 hours of assemblin + tweakin) w/ d board, can't really do much.
