3.7GHz is more than enuf for 24/7 mah... jealous nyer... i better stop readin this thread...

turn on acc & u'll see wonders... +4% worked best for me.

3.3Ghz w/ what kinda config? 16.5 multi & above don't really work well for some 7750BE, reviews like that, same w/ mine as well... if u need 3.3GHz, try to avoid that.

try to set +% start from 2 % up to +12% (all core) in bios @ 3.1GHz (15.5*200), check which one give u d most stable clock. my 7750be didn't really like high nb voltage even w/ extra juice provided. max achieve was 2200MHz w/ 1.35v (that's about 2 notches up from stock which is 1.325v). i think u won't have that in aod (not sure bout newer version thou as i'm more comfortable w/ 2.1.4 b4), u gotta ask around in rh for option in vimc adjustment. ht link @ 2000 is just fine, don't really think high ht link will be benificial, but high nb freq, yes.

there's no significant improvement offered by ddr3 so far, i guess this is limited by d current chipsets which are d same w/ ddr2 platform. but from what i observed, ddr3 boards do need less volts if compared to their predecessors. considerin d price of ddr3 at d moment, i'd say it's better to stick w/ ddr2 paltform until amd release their new chipsets & prices of ddr3 become more affordable. my 2 cents only.

only non gx3 boards have weird placement for primary pci-e slot, gx3 has normal layout just like other brands where primary pci-e is located nearer to d cpu mountin point.

i'm not so sure whether d ddr3 flava of 790gx by biostar already available, but from d preview by a fellow member of xs, it looks promisin... if one can get a gud price for a pair of ddr3, that board will be d 1st choice for mild overclockers... value + gud performance.

d chip itself would be d primary factor, followed by board whether its bios support or not d unlocking. we hardly see golden batch appear in m'sia thou...

d key to acc feature is not d nb, sb is d major concern as it's d one which provides that feature.

what's wrong w/ usin a beta bios? usually beta bioses are tweaked version of official bios, which imo is better.

gotta agree on d bios part, heck care whether d bios from whatever region, as long as it does its works, that'll be fine. some more, biostar do have a huge fans base in d states, i believe they're bigger in asia.

have u tried all d % for all cores? some chips like +% (most likely as + means givin more juice) while some love -% (opposite of +).

u mite need to set diff % for each core, but that would be very x 100 tedious.

if u don't wanna buy no one can force u what...

that's d key to higher clock, but ofcoz, ACC does play some parts too...

*applicable to simple board like 790fxb only, a$u$ is alot more complicated...

depends on what are d alphabets behind d 0904. EPMW is d best in 0904 from what i observed, BPMW is slightly inferior to EPMW. as for others like d one previously owned by bro fuzure, u gotta ask him for his comments.

remember, from what i know only biostar & gigabyte ddr2 boards confirmed can run x3 720 B.E prime stable, some users of 790fxb or even d great M4A79 Deluxe are havin problem gettin their chips prime stable on their boards.

if moolah is not a problem i'll go 940B.E for sure.
