IMO, i dun thk that a energy efficient version is a good buy for a OC'er

but as a RM300 is cheaper then ori price, so still can considering it if u wan a x4,

but for me, i will topup some to get a x3 710, its a phenomII, can clock more then this chip,

if wan say the power saving, 710 @ 3GHz is js a easy work n can do at low vCORE..

yeah, if 240 can consider it.. its cheap!

am2+ is for 940BE and 920, else other PhenomII is AM3,

and am3 chip can sit on AM2+ with no prob..

oni AM2+ cnt sit on AM3 soc ,where AM2+ chip with 940pin gotto putting in 938 hole, that will be a big trouble

unless u broke 2 pin n wat happen aft that is not guaranty

see how much to top up, and do u ply much graphic game? if ply much better stick with higher clock instead of more core..
coz at lower cpu speed it not do vy well in some heavy game...

if working oso is js for reference.. no point we use a AM2+ chip run on AM3 board, as it not supported DD3 frm the chip itself..

we r looking to the TRUE AM3 which will pair with DDR3 ram..
