Guys, I'm in Kuching here. Many times when on 3G network I cannot post to forums at all, comes back as page not found. I also cannot upload anything to Flickr etc. But when I switch to GSM only (GPRS) then I can surf post to forum and upload normally (but super slow). This has been going on since last December, it is much better now but sometimes still happens. Anyone else experience this? I am not a heavy downloader but sometimes not being able to post or upload to flickr or photbucket etc (when on 3G) is very frustrating.

For those looking for cheap 3g router solution to set up wifi at home to share your celcom bb, I can recommend the pairing of huawei e160 + Cnet cwr635. I just set this up and I have zero experience in networking and it was so easy and now my whole house can share the connection for normal stuff like email, web surf etc. not everyone can use youtube of course, but we just share for normal surfing. the pairing cost me less than RM500. I also set up my cheapo Epson printer to be shared on the wifi network and works well.

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Jul 7 2009, 09:02 PM) Added on July 7, 2009, 9:30 pmGuys, E160 or E156 better? any differences between the two??? using e160 now. before that e156 for short while. e156 is black, matte finish. e160 is white glossy. I found that e156 not as warm as e160 but e160 reception seems better but seems to be so only, am not really sure. e160 can also use external antenna if signal not strong. both hold max 4GB microSD in a slot. I bought e160 because it is compatible with my Cnet wifi router while e156 is not listed as compatible.

fastest way is to use the kiosk. I pay using kiosk, unbarred within an hour or two. I also get the sms confirmation saying thanks for payment blahblahblah shortly after using kiosk.
