QUOTE(jehutyz @ May 16 2012, 10:37 PM) I was a PL30 user but due to broken therefore now using Hippo Shroom EB. Saw the latest E30 seems like not bad. Anyone using it? Any reviews for it? not using PL30Just want to know how is the sound quality in term of clarity and bass. anyway here's a review for you http://anythingbutipod.com/2011/11/soundmagic-e30-review/ Pros Clear, natural, dynamic sound quality Good selection of included silicone tips Over-the-ear design Great price/value ratio Cons Proper fit and seal might be difficult to achieve for some people’s ear shapes/sizes |

QUOTE(shawn87 @ May 19 2012, 01:36 PM) From what I heard from the seller last time he said pl50 is more to balance clarity and better soundstage.. I tried once before purchased my pl11.. Quite good.. Xba1 never tried before sorry.. Both headphone in d same class? ya they are both balance armature driver and the price range is similar that's why i ask QUOTE(tunertoobe @ May 19 2012, 06:37 PM) Yeah, PL50 and XBA-1 are in the same class. Both are priced the same, and both are single BA. just went to sony style for a test run i find that XBA-1 is lacking of something compare to PL50 but i cant really tell what since i'm still a newbie in audiophilePL50 is quite possibly the most comfortable IEM I've ever owned. Both ergonomics wise and sound wise. Clarity, speed, detail and warmth all in one package. Not as good looking as the XBA-1 though. Hmmmm....I am rather interested in the XBA-1. Thinking of getting a HisoundAudio Golden Crystal and an XBA-1 for when I'm in the mood for some signature change.... I must say though, that the PL50 will not be a wrong buy. Bass is adequate for a BA and it's presentation of the mids is very good, great for vocals, especially male vocals. If my local Sony dealer has an XBA-1 I could take a sneak peek into its sound...although almost all of the time they'd only let you try their IEM/headphone if you are actually buying them. I tricked them once into letting me audition the XBA-300 headphone. when compare to xba-2, 3 or 4 then.. |
