Currently using PL20 and very much happy with it. Clarity and separation is impressive with decent bass on the first try.

After approximately 48hrs of burn-in, I can already feel the difference especially in terms of bass. While the clarity remains imposing, the bass becomes more distinguished making a much balanced sound.

PL50 is using BA driver eh? And SoundMagic's first attempt at that. Interesting.

This could just be my very first swipe at a BA iem.

But for Soundmagic ~US$70 is not cheap. But I'll reserve judgment until ClieOS review. smile.gif

Yea but for a BA iem with that price, it's definitely a steal.

Yea it did make me happier. lol

Found out it is sold for $80(SGD) over in Singapore. So practically it is around US$55.

Does the PL50 come with bi-flange? 'cos from here, it doesn't seem to have any.

It comes with 4 set of single flange and 3 set of foam tips - I don't think you need bi-flange anymore. If you really want to, you can cut a pair of tri-flange to bi-flange and it should fit.

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by that.

lol PL20s are made to be bass light.

Sony EX series iems are quite bassy.

From those reviews PL-30 is good for its value... tongue.gif

Yeah for its value. Meaning PL30 is only the best among iems that are worth the same.

Should we even compare Klipsch Custom 1 and SoundMagic PL30 in the fist place? =/

They're in different range right? Not to mention the huge price difference.

Perhaps it's the source (device which plays your music).

Portable music players as well as phones are probably not so good of a music source compared to the pc.

I see. So MP21 and PL21 are basically the same thing except that the MP21 has the voip phone thingy.

Thanks for clarifying.
