Hello to all sifus,
I have a question to ask pertaining to Windows 8 installation via BootCamp. As recommended in previous thread, installation can be found *here*. However, does it work the same as Windows 8?
In the guide, mentioned :-
To install Windows 7 with a installation disc, you need the following:
- A built-in optical disc drive or a compatible external optical drive. <-- The newer MBP version has SuperDrive. Is it the same as Optical Drive?
- An installation disc with Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate
You must use a single full-install Windows installation disc. You cannot use an
upgrade version of Windows. <-- Roughly how much will Win8 CD cost?
(Or should I just stick with Win7?)
- A blank CD or DVD, or an external drive formatted as MS-DOS (FAT). <-- Can I use thumbdrive?
