Maybe bootcamp and parallel is two different thing? So you have to configure two time? Im not sure but I have a question... Between parallel and VMWare, which is free? As I saw parallel can be downloaded online... Need to clarify this...

Why dont just use bootcamp for now? Wait till Parallel or VMWare update to fully support 64bit then only switch and its free =D

I mean yea you have to deal with that disadvantage since others doenst support 64 bit right? Unless you can live with 32 bit =D

Since you already have bootcamp I think its better to use the bootcamp instead of installing another VMWare... Its not really that hassle as Mac boots up quite fast actually unless you are like really converting stuff between mac and windows...
