Just to share,
For remote desktop application to Windows machine based on RDP protocol, CoRD so far the best.
More info: http://cord.sourceforge.net/

the M$ one is total rubbish lol.

Agreed, I use CoRD all the time for managing Exchange servers. It works well even over a Streamyx 1mbit line.

I hope to get some opinion regarding to running Window on Mac.

I'm a degree student myself, just switched from Window to Macintosh and word processing is required for assignment. I know iWork should perform just fine on the purpose, but I got alot of  Microsoft Documents and the campus is distributing learning material in Microsoft Office format.

Therefore, I need to run Microsoft Office in my Mac. However, the Mac version of Microsoft Office is real expensive and I was planning to get Parallel Desktop 7 instead (to run window on mac, I do have original window version of Microsoft Office).

So which option is better?
1. Microsoft Office (Mac Version)
2. Parallel Desktop 7 + Window OS

Wouldn't PD7 + Windows be more expensive than just Office for Mac?

I believe the price of PD7 + Win7 should be the same as buying the Office for Mac student edition. Why going for a headache.. Btw, it comes with 3 license codes too.. Might be able to sell the two license codes to your buddies smile.gif

How about single user version? Cheaper right?

Added on December 17, 2012, 10:36 pmDoes anyone know how many times you can activate a legit Parallels serial number before it gets blacklisted? I've already activated on 2 of my Macs and I have 2 more Macs that I'd like to install it on. All on the same IP.

Parallels 16.3.1 arm64 Tech Preview working with Windows 10 arm64. Tested on MacOS 11.1 Mac Mini M1. Windows also quite responsive. Didn't really test anything other than Mikrotik winbox64.exe.
