Greetings fellow forumers. I'm realitively new to Mac and would like to seek some advice from experienced fellas out here. smile.gif

For starters, I'm initiating my shift from Windows to Mac OS platform and as such, my latest investment is on a Mac Mini to which I plan to equip with 8Gb of ram and a 240gb SSD. Purpose of the setup is mainly for photo editing and entertainment but I do plan to run some moderate gaming on it.

Here r my questions:
1. Would it be advisable to install PD and run VM on this setup? Is the specs adequate to cope with win7 as the VM?
2. I only plan to use the windows VM when needed. As such, most of the time, I rather no resources goes to PD at all. Is that possible or PD runs automatically at startup? Or is it simply just a software to which I first need to run?

Hope u guys can shed some light here for me. The thought of having two OS running is welcoming for me but I rather prefer if I have the option to turn it on only when I need it.

Tq
