I would like to find out if it's possible for the new Mac mini (early 2009) to run two displays (extended desktop) on BootCamp (XP or Vista). Has anybody tried that?

It seems that it's possible to do so with OS X, one through Mini Display Port and another through Mini DVI.

My plan is to get a Mac mini to hook up two 24" LCD (both at 1920 x 1200) running BootCamp (Windows XP) if that's possible.

Thanks.

by default windows xp can support dual display, even on bootcamp its possible. shouldnt be a problem in my opinion. The setup is similar to a UMBP that has internal connector connecting to its clamshell screen and the MDP to any other screens. Why open new thread when theres one already?

That's what i think so, but i couldn't find anybody posting successful experience on using dual displays with Boot Camp on the new Mac mini. In fact, i just went to my local Apple store and they don't seem to have an answer either.

Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I use the one supplied by Boot Camp. As long as it works, don't fix it. biggrin.gif
