Just installed PD 4.0 ... and I must say how impressed I am with the speed and loading time of my XP in Snow Leopard ... Feels like it is even faster than natively loading Win XP via bootcamp ... tried updating and surfing using IE 8, also as fast as browsing pages using FF on my Desktop PC ... PD 4.0 is definitely a winner for me!

I have all three of them ...  tongue.gif but still i prefer uTorrent because it is fast and its FREE!  rclxms.gif

I think you are running low in space. You can try reduce your windows partition size.
I had this problem before when my HDD running in tight free space.
*
now my free space got around 100gb's but still cant make it. As i search from internet, they said that because of this. I tried idfrag but it still failed, i think i have only 1 choice now, its purchase a backup ext, back it up then restore.

Yeap, if more space doesn't help next is to try disk repair tools like disk warrior, drive genius or techtool pro.
Last is to clone or install to external.

Have you try re-applying last OSX update?
*
wei, is it by doing a clean install on it will do better? i never did clean install before as i upgraded it from 10.5.8 to 10.6.2. So now issit the time to use Time Machine to backup all the apps so that i can erase my whole hdd? sorry for my english.

Yes, this issue happen on those that upgrade from 10.5 -> 10.6 most of the time.
Time Machine will do a roll-back for you, so it's not entirely clean.

By clean means wipe your HDD clean by re-partitioning/re-formatting. Then install the Mac OSX from the installer, apply all required OSX/software update from Apple. Finally install Apps you need and move back your files (but not your user folder entirely).

Have you try create a new user and partition from there? Just another try before you spend hours to reconfigure everything.
*
Just tried create a new user and partition from there. Still failed...
I'm thinking of doing the partition at my own using disc utility, partition out a 40GB and then choose it at bootcamp there, wondering will it works or bootcamp there will still require me to do another partition?

I am use a Macbook White 2.4Ghz with Intel graphic, Snow Leopard. I am using Parallel Desktop 5 now, it still a bit slow with my 2GB ram. Should I upgrade to 4GB (it going to cost RM270)?  How much does it help??
*
Yea, u allocate 1GB to ur windows(xp) or 2gb to vista/7, then you can get a better performance.

Sorry for asking a noob question , i already install windows 7 64bit in my mac using bootcamp , can i still use desktop parallel in mac without need to install another windows in desktop parallel ?
*

I installed the drivers but it the wireless is not working even after I installed it again. And is it normal that the multitouch driver to not support tap to click function?
*
no, it is not normal. i'm able to do tap to click, 2 fingers for right click in my w7. I downloaded the drivers for my mac from internet cause i left my discs at home town.

Hi Guys

I'm encountering a problem.

I'm using the VmFusion 3 and it took my win7 boot camp and boot up as virtual.  In the website, it states that even as I select virtual to boot up my boot camp, I can still restart into my Win7 Bootcamp anytime I want.

However, when I want to boot up again from my boot camp, it's no longer there.

Any idea how I can get it back?

Thanks
*
I have no problem with that, tried bootcamp with VMware and then boot it back w7. Did u changed the file directory?

it works quite well surpisingly

Yeap, if u install windows at VMware/parallel, that will be running smoothly, but then if u load ur bootcamp from VMware, that will be quite laggy. i experienced that.haha
