not sure if this has been posted before, nevertheless it's a good comparison between fusion 4 and parallels 7

Getting my air soon, need windows because I need to use Microsoft access.

Only 128GB ssd, windows partition took up 40gb? How to minimize it? Can install on external hdd?

Seems like visualization better than bootcamp

my win7 ultimate 32bit running on parallels only uses up 8.46gb space. in it, it only has warcraft 3 + frozen throne 1.24e and also installed most of the win7 updates required. nothing else besides these. quite little space used to me

i had no issues playing dota with PD7.

Instead of mouse movement lag, it was jumping around the screen. It's a normal thing due to the mouse movement acceleration feature. i permanently disabled it with some command u can google up online.

although i have PD7 and able to run dota smoothly with it, but i have just bootcamped my MBA ready for Diablo 3.

Playing D3 natively on OSX during the open beta weekend gave a very low fps between 10-20. "playable" but not enjoyable experience. so after reading many forums online, decided to bootcamp. now just waiting for my D3 to run on it. will update here on how it runs.

no problem, was ok. like i said, just need to off mouse acceleration

Ok, bootcamp n play diablo 3.

here're my MBA 13" (4GB RAM) on Windows 7 Ultimate x86 (i dont have the 64bit copy) settings:

resolution: 1280x800 (widescreen)
texture quality: low
shadow: low
physics: high
clutter density: medium
AA: off
Low FX: off

playing experience generally good and smooth. fps on land / town around 20. in dungeon / underground around 30. played with 3 friends, all 4 players and many enemies. lag abit when lots of crowd but very much playable.
cutscenes fps crazy high at 140+

overall i would say ok smile.gif

so if anyone wants to play diablo 3 on MBA 13", hope this can serve as reference.
