Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if it's safe to hibernate Windows XP while in BootCamp. Anyone done that before?

And if rebooting by holding the options button, does Windows XP return to the state before hibernation eg. programs that were open are still open.

Finally, can MacOS still boot up normally?

I'm using Snow Leopard.

Thank you.

I got a few questions. I have a MBP 15" 2.8Ghz with 4GB RAM. I'm thinking of installing Win 7 via BootCamp. Can my hardware support Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit? Will it recognise 4GB RAM? Because now I have WinXP and it only recognises 2GB RAM. Finally, does my Snow Leopard Install DVD come with all the drivers to support Win 7? If not, which websites can I go to get the drivers?

Thanks!

Any news that the network driver is now supported in 64bit? I don't see this problem reported anywhere else.

I installed Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit via Boot Camp 3.0 and there are no problems whatsoever. Wifi works, etc. Only the audio volume is quite low even though I set it to the max.

Yes. My superdrive also ejects my Snow Leopard DVD many times before it decides to read it properly.
