Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if it's safe to hibernate Windows XP while in BootCamp. Anyone done that before?
And if rebooting by holding the options button, does Windows XP return to the state before hibernation eg. programs that were open are still open.
Finally, can MacOS still boot up normally?
I'm using Snow Leopard.
Thank you.

I got a few questions. I have a MBP 15" 2.8Ghz with 4GB RAM. I'm thinking of installing Win 7 via BootCamp. Can my hardware support Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit? Will it recognise 4GB RAM? Because now I have WinXP and it only recognises 2GB RAM. Finally, does my Snow Leopard Install DVD come with all the drivers to support Win 7? If not, which websites can I go to get the drivers?
Thanks!

I installed Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit via Boot Camp 3.0 and there are no problems whatsoever. Wifi works, etc. Only the audio volume is quite low even though I set it to the max.

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Dec 20 2009, 11:59 PM) can u try opening the disk in OSX? i notice superdrives are very picky with dvds. my 'applications dvd' and ACPP techtool dvd got ejected right out after i inserted it Yes. My superdrive also ejects my Snow Leopard DVD many times before it decides to read it properly.
