not necessarily. i've set up windows 7 via bootcamp and configured parallels to use it as hdd and all is well. please install parallels tools as well. it should work. thats how i got it to work. make sure it's windows 7 RTM. not the RC or beta releaseI tried on Parallel Desktop, a lot of drivers not running and Parallel Tools not installing...
