Is there any school offering iphone Developer University Program? I'm not a student but I'd like to join a developer course for free or at least cheaper than $99.

hi, you can get free iphone course from the Standford University using iTune U. 100% free and some of the trainers are Apple employees. then if u r really interested and want to go more advance, signed up the $99 usd iphone developer program, you can download the WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference seminar) videos, some of the seminars are presented by the Apple Own Developers who actually invent and design the Cocoa and iphone SDK. some of them are the Pro of the Pros! :-)

hi all developers,

did any of you recently release any new app being rejected due to the app doesn't run well on ipad? i don't have the real ipad yet, but i already fully tested my app using the ipad simulator and iphone 3GS device, the app is working well. but apple sent me an email saying the app is ok for running on iphone, but some parts are not working on the ipad.

did you all test the app using the real ipad? looks like the ipad simulator is really not as good as the iphone simulator.

Don't really have an iPad as a test device yet but I doubt it really matters unless you're building a Universal binary or unless it screws up big time? Did they specify?
*
i can't find out the problem using ipad simulator, Apple reveiw the app using real ipad. well, i think i better temporary change the targeted device family to iphone only, and lets see what will happen next.

Did you intended for a Universal binary? Binary that supports iPad rather than the typical X2 mode, requires you to support all orientation. That is probably the most obvious fix!
*
ken_wickedboy,
thanks for the info. i will double check again this weekend or next weekend. at the mean time, i re-submitted the binary with targeted for iphone/ipod only. well, since thi is my new app built using the iOS 4.0 sdk, i did predicted there might be something not so right whenever there is a new sdk. it's weird, for updated app using the iOS4.0 sdk seems ok, only new app got rejected.

*
there is no need any degree for developing apps, as long as you enjoy programming and enjoy solving some logic problem/math problems, you can do it. a 9 years-old kid also can do it. smile.gif happy coding!

Anyone has apply for developer license as sole proprietor?

They seems wanted a translated copy of certificate of registration and get notarized. Do you do that or just fax the original copy?
*
which developer licenses are you trying to apply? USD 99 or USD299?

USD99. I think USD299 is for enterprise.
I choose to apply as company rather than individual.
Faxed the Borang E and they asked me to translate and notarize it.
So was wondering other also do the same before I spend more $ for translation and notary public.

Hi,

try email to asia.dev@asia.apple.com or give a call to Apple Singapore, i had problem with my license during early year 2009, they helped me solve it.

If can add Income + cash In, example:-

CIMB : RM1000
Maybank : RM1500
Cash : RM500

then will calculate the balance after expense would be better.
Then user can know how much the cash money that they have.
