reflash back to 611. Find the 612b is too laggy.
Well, lets wait for a better release than.
*
hahah.. im using 6.12 also doesnt feel satisfied.. but my battery oso so so only.. got improvement .. but no much.. normally this time is empty but now still got 40% left.. to be exact 48%... not bad actually.. but 2day i got lighter usage..

QUOTE(ongbs @ May 12 2009, 10:02 PM)
I think the laggy caused by the Processor power/speed profile.
*
i think so as well.. i installed Gfxboost.. seem like the program doesnt suit this rom.. make it more laggy only...

Mail2Blogger is a system created by Blogger itself. You might find a similar system in Wordpress, I'm not sure.

However, you may try a software called moBlog also. Search around for the link, I can't post it because it is a warez site although the software is freeware I think.
*
icic.. i still doesnt found any for wordpress yet.. mayb moblog is da one..

yeah, as u said.. it is a demo set.. is not a set that me n our member pamper 1.. so, using all stock stuff.. which jam up da device.. Sony ericsson Xperia release a ROM (so called as Firmware for normal SE) update.. stock is using R1AA, while past update is R2AA.. currently is R3AA.. which provide super stable platform to run windows mobile in xperia..

anyway, i might wanted to remind again.. compare xperia to PDA, xperia again is da best device to provide best user experience for windows mobile among those pda..

sorry.. honestly i know nothing about this sexi phone. i planned to buy one cos the qwerty is too damn good to type but because of too many complains that holding me back to buy it. since you said R3AA which is super stable are you using it too? R3AA havnt official release yet.. but wat i mean stable here is that 3rd party rom cooker already able to get it and port the nice stuff inside and run it on Rhodium/topaz build of windows mobile.

R3AA itself either stable o not.. nobody know actually.. but surely that R3AA will throw out some stuff n clean up da ROM itself when release, so would be better than R2AA..

but for windowsmobile, we hardly use official rom 1.. 3rd party rom most of the time is better n faster, but it depend too.. that y we got this discussion thread n talking all these about.. see which rom is better, then discuss together..

yeah yeah.. now using smaberg 6.12b... quite laggy.. but if i use Max performance at nuedynamicclock.. it is a lot more better....

now still using smaberg.... quite nice..

but what i gonna complain, if radio v1.11.25.76.. is very very lousy.. GPS fix take super long.. n not sensitive at all...!!

no nice.. going to flash to v1.14 later even thou it is battery drainer..

as battery comparison..
Online whole day - 1.14 can till 6-8pm only.. while 1.11 can reach me until 1am on next day.

v1.11 radio is nice for daily usage but no for GPS!!

Hello peeps,

I'm interested in getting an xperia for my gf and me, we're looking for a stable device which doesn't give up on us as we're future doctors and we can't afford for the device to hang very often.

I heard from a fellow physician that the xperia is very laggy and the review is very bad. Some even said it takes very long to load files which are stored in the memory card for example maps for the GPS. Can somebody clarify this for me pls?

I would love to own 1 if possible.. Thanks !

err, better you get a hands-on on actual use in phone store etc, as "laggy" definition id depends on individual.
Some ppl think 5s to load a file is slow but other devices may take upto 10s, so do you think 5s is "laggy'?

btw, which phone you are using now and which phone you got in your wish list?

Thanks for the reply. I'm using a nokia N70 now. The other phone which I have in mind is the palm centro due to it's responsiveness and also the wide application support for medical softwares.

A hands only wouldn't be able to really judge a phone right? Because it's only like 5-10 mins of trying the phone..

to check your usage. u can check via software. what i recommend is from SPB software house 1... oh sweat.. since i didnot use my xperia for phone call.. i have no idea how.. but i will check out n update here if i really found..hahaha...

to check for latest update RADIO...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=477801

this thread will always update da official xperia radio n compatible radio from blackstone.

i think radio is newer is better.. so try to update to v1.14 n see.. i think u can see significant improvement and more battery consumption.. if u feel prefer the old 1.. then download da old 1 and reflash only.. it is easy.. hope u can do it and post some review here...thx thx

hihi, xperia by itself when u bought it if da xperia is using R1AA rom, then it will quite buggy and laggy.. but i hardly hung my xperia b4. R2AA is a lot more improvement over the R1AA. u can check which rom is using by going to Start -> settings -> System -> "device information"

SE will freely update to R2AA or even R3AA when they available for it.. xperia is quite a stable device compare to HTC 1.. caz HTC own-branded TouchFlo 3D 2 is a ram eater.. 20MB by default.. tat y will slow down da device a lot.

by default.. i still prefer xperia when i doesnt nid TF3D 2. im using garmin mobile XT n mapking n google maps for GPS navigation. it is best available device among the device i tried. (again, omnia, touch pro, touch hd). <- using radio v1.14.

loading maps from memory wont take long. but it do take sometimes.. btw, if u compare PDA to normal Phone GPS. PDA will be slower because of more thing to be load.

since u using N70 now. i believe Xperia is much more faster than ur N70 as long as u keep our device clean from useless software.

haha.. no problem.. anyway, best to discuss here la.. i dont really trust myself that giving some over crazy toward "windows mobile" comment..

later i will add the way support windows mobile rather than saying any disadvantages of xperia.. best is to still discuss here lor..

anyway, from wat i know.. till now.. no one in xperia thread or xperia owner complain bout xperia frequent hung or clash.. it is quite a stable device..

but, to be more productivity, i still install tons of HTC stuff inside my xperia.. n sometimes it may slow down da device.. but definitely wont hung it up. n i make myself to reset my device once a day to keep my ram clean. cause in anyway also windows mobile got ram problem 1. memory leaking. those ram is leak to some "unknown" program. which will make usable ram a lot lesser while slow down da device. after our big brother HTC join and put in big effort in PDA - windows mobile, this problem had less problem already.

so, actually it is really no worry to use xperia as primary and daily usage. but, i do interested in why ppl said xperia is not a good phone thou.. hope this kind of ppl can join our thread n share share with us their xperia's experience. i dont have this kind of problem since i use xperia. but still got ppl complain bout that..

what i think of is:
1) they dont know the word of PDA and windows mobile. Xperia is a PDA n not a phone for me.
2) they hate xperia by judge it with its high price.

Why i say No 1 point, because my xperia is used with data plan only package. 2day my celcom BB down.. my xperia is really like half-dead dy..
