hehe..jz flashed to valkyrie firestorm 3.0. So far so good. kind of like the new style of menu with the X and back button below.

Just found out some bugs i guess in valkryie firestorm 3.0. When getting into contacts, edit contacts, some of the field below couldnt be shown,some mess up of words there...but anyway, still love this rom as not really into adding many fields info of contacts.

the incoming caller id bug u meant for firestorm or leo? coz mine like working fine wo. and what does klaxon do?haha..i saw the appication but never try yet.

haha..btw, do u hav any working fish panel? i downloaded like few versions already but still non of it will be able to show up in my panel manager...and for on the road panel..does this panel works for us in malaysia?

just get back from genting. hehe and after few tries, realize further few bugs in 3.0 Valkyrie Firestorm..

video call own picture rotated 90 degree clockwise, camera not working..>.< not sure why..after i press take picture button..it took and after that enter a black screen which i guess is the touch focus thingy, and stuck there..need softreset to be able to open camera again. >.< and also fingerkeyboard program seems like not compatible with this rom as the keyboard there dun hav the arrow to choose keyboard.

Is there any other better ROM to recommend? How abt Valkyrie LEO and Xperio? What actually is their different ar..>.< Do they hav the HTC interface too?

ya...i m pretty sure i flash it correctly and did all the hard reset. As i flashed 2 xperia and both having same problem.

As for xperio shud b dun hav htc interface rite?

help u add a little, the video call bug still there, call picture rotated 90 degree, and the camera if use the shutter button it cant take pics but will enter into a dark touch focus screen..>.< i wonder this camera bug issit me only, already changed to 3mp, had no problem taking picture by touch screen.

But overall quite a fantastic rom. the startup valkryie screen is gorgeous...

and with lots of themes comes with this rom. for tf3d background after changed to the valkyrie 1...i m so happy with it.

the valkyrie LEO 3.0 i tried flash 1 time before, but somehow don't know is i downloaded wrong file or what, after flashed, i click this button that application come out, that button this application come out, all mess up. But i read others feed back seems like quite ok other than slower abit.

not much ppl complaining firestorm leo ba...but for more detail wait our boss rkwan replied. hehe..

for step 3, i used to press both left and right silver button and press the power button once. then hard reset screen will show up asking u whether u wan to restore to default and slide out the keyboard and press R and then press space and thats it.

Depends on u wan it as a cab file without flashing it (which was said to be more lag and unstable) or flash to a custom rom that comes with it (this way u will need to void the warranty but anyway u will be able to recover it by flashing back to the stock rom to gain back the warranty)

These info above is from what i read. never claim a warranty before yet.

These info below is from rkwan which i found particular useful in previous post:

in general:

ROM -> is a package of containing windows n files of a PDA. it is exactly the same the is called FIRMWARE for other SE phone. ROM can contain different version of windows mobile and a lot of 3rd party stuff like TF3D. newest rom version as i post now is WM6.1 build 21042 and WM6.5 build 21501.

HARD-SPL -> is something like security unlock your device so that u can install 3rd party ROM. but, this step must must be very careful. if u fail it, u will brick your phone permanently! u can refer to the link i posted on 2nd post for more info bout it.

.cab file -> this is a installation package for each software u downloaded. u can copy this .cab file n use file explorer inside windows mobile to install this software u downloaded.

best is still recommend u download 3rd party rom that is already have integrated TF3D inside. that will be have least bug compare than u install .cab of TF3D.
