I got mine last weekend, RM1.95k, could have got it cheaper if I bought it in KL..

Finally manage to install Garmin mobile XT, takes less than a minute to locate a satellite when I stand outside my house, radio version 1.14. I realised that my battery life is really weak. A day of very light usage batt life ady down to 56% .. Do any one of u have the same prob?

Besides that, after getting missed calls, even after clicking on the notification, the side LEDs are still blinking, I've to soft reset in order to off them. I've asked Jack because I thought it's a rom problem, but he said he's not facing such prob. Bro rkwan any idea how to solve it?

Hmm.. yeah if the problem persist I'll off the illumination notification soon. Not like I need it that much also.

v1.16 not that good right?

Even with 1.14 I seldom get full bar on maxis, whereas on my old n70, it's always full bar in my house. I can't imagine how 1.16 would be.

Anyone else on Jack 6.5 rom?

I can connect to wireless routers but can't seem to surf the net, no idea why. Try multiple routers but it's not working. I'm using the IE bundled with the rom, skype also cannot connect. Any solutions?

Since using Jack's rom, I've face numerous small bugs and I decided to flash to valkyrie..

It's lighter, and the UI is much nicer, I love the colors.

Btw bro rkwan, there is no batt indicator display? How can I enable it or is there any software cab that can help?

How long have u been using ur xperia? sounds quite bad to me, silver set?

When I was on Jack's rom, I experienced some slight lagginess but now I'm on Valkyrie, the lagginess is much improved..

For individual user ringtone, go to your contacts and set it individually for the ppl that you want.

Now original thorus xperia warranty comes with 2 yrs warranty, so I think the extra RM400 is very worth paying.

Yes, u're right, 1 year from SE and another year from mobisure and hardware is not covered by them.

Rkwan is on v2.9.. and I'm on it too currently, and it's much better in terms of stability & speed compared to Jack v4

Wow, valkyrie is really fast.. Do post a review after using it rkwan. Hopefully it's even better than v2.9..

After like 30 mins talking on the phone, my phone will get a little hot.. And radio rom 1.14 is really a battery sucker. I've to charge my phone everyday =(

Yeah, it makes me wonder whether those ppl in SE service center will check the SPL when we send back our phone for servicing..

Hmm.. Like what rkwan suggested, maybe u've to try taking the risk to reflash to the normal SPL first.
