Hi all,

I have a modded jasper console. I have never gone online with that console yet and I have original games. So my question is will i be safe if I just go online on xbox live and play with ori games? I won't use it for anything else.

Will i still be banned?

Banned is always a risk for any modded console. It depend on MS. If you really wanna go LIVE you can reduce the risk by unmodded back your console and go ORI. But still there a lot of LIVE player out there playing with modded console but still enjoyed their moment in LIVE.. it's based on luck..

Honestly i can say that almost all my games are ORI actually I only have those that came with the console. But as I was asking i read/heard that you only get banned if they detect you playing online with a fake dvd. Since i'm only using ori... should not be the case right?

Thank you so much for your help and messages. But I only posted this message is because I thought it was ok because yes... I bought a modded console, but since i have already done it, damage has been done.

So I am just wondering if I am able to go on live BUT I aim to use only ORI titles. Esp when on live. So Just wondering if I will still get banned or not.

Please bear in mind that i DO NOT intent to use pirated dvd, ESP to go online. As I said, the only ones I have right now are the ones that came with the console. I do not plan to buy anymore pirated ones.

Any help regarding going on live with only ori titles? As I said, I heard that MS cannot check to see if the machine is modded or not, only can detect if the machine is playing pirated, WHEN LOGGED ON TO LIVE. Have no idea if this is true or not

no ideas dude... if banned just sell off ur xbox and get without mod..

Microsoft detected the status of the console (modded or not).

but like they all say, it's based on luck.

if Microsoft did not detect your modded status, then you are free to go live.

if they do detected it, then your console is banned for life and there is nothing you can do about it (unless, of course, you buy a new, unmodded console )

but some ppl here do provide EXTRA firmware for modded console in able to bypass Microsoft detection ma

Anyway,
I dont think playing ORI on MODDED will make you immune to "banhammer".
If you read the Rules and regulation before registering for LIVE,
They clearly state something about retrieving data from your console,
such as the game you've played, and all sorts of data including your current firmware.

I wonder if it's possible to revert the status of 360 from MOD to UNMOD.

Those so called stealth mod will still get detected. However getting ban or not is based on how fast you're detected by LIVE moderators.

If your console is banned there's almost no hope of getting it unmodded, so I would advise you either unmod it OR sell it to those do not want to enjoy LIVE and only want to play "wallet friendly" version.

BTW, unmodded console is a bit cheaper than modded & it's covered with 3 yrs warranty from 3RRoD.

anyway....... to answer to ur q's yes there is chances for you to get banned for using moded console, ms have way to detect ur console got mod or not.. so once ur console got flagged it just matter of time u got in to the bannnnwagon.. so might wanna go and check the news of previous bannnwave u might get the picture of it kay...

unmod does not really help if you ever online with modded status coz you're flagged once online and pending for ban

so if the console never been flag/online so its ok right? or they still know if the console has been modded?

Your universal answer will be YES you will be ban

Once your console is mod, you will be a walking time bomb.

There is no point of flashing it back to unmod because they will know as well.

well, since you got modded one, just play on with it without getting to LIVE and likewise lah. nuff'said!

Bro, this is 2010.
Even with Iex 1.6 is not immediate banned. Just flagged in most cases.
However with LT, all the check will pass. Only thing is the game stealth is left at your discretion.

Make sure ur console is update to latest fw 1st before flashing to LT.

To play LIVE or not at ur discretion. Nobody forcing anybody. One will get banned eventually using modded console. Just time will tell. Atm, LT is safest. Use at ur own risk.

What I mean is you're not Stephen Toulouse, you don't know what is the next vital sign to detect for the ban detection.
and 90% is not even near to 99.99%

From my understanding, game stealth is not what M$ want to find, but the checksum & the DVD turnrate for previous detection.

Who knows what is the next detection? heck Stephen Toulouse even said they can even know you modded the fan or added a waterblock or lightings.....

Yeah, we just dont know wat MS will develop to counter this new mod FW. It bound to happen Yes.
About the mod fans, led, hackhdd etc ... i doubt they will banned for such thing, They might and might not detect on the fluctuation of voltage. A lot if not majority of people using the intercooler, nobody reported to be banned on this yet. Nobody have something solid on this case mod yet though. I think they will and ought focus more on the piracy side than bother with sumthing this trial. Rumors to be see tho.

Hmm, I know you're not flaming, I'm just expecting you to know that.

For sure they will not want to ban for those things as those are not considered to hurt the XBOX LIVE community.

It was clear that modding the game saves & pirate copy is not a fair play and that's why these kind of machines/player should be ban from XBOX LIVE for the sake of the others.

But the biggest advantage if u buy original games is, ur games will never stuck or freeze like non ori games.

U use 12v or not your console will still 3RRoD due to an internal chip packaging problem. Not really due to heat itself
