Thanks bro..

But, can ask some more question? If I dun become a scientist after I graduate.. Say, I join a business company, will i have an edge due to my science degree..?

Like, maybe more likely to get hired, etc..

After all, i wouldn't  want to offend anybody but isn't it widely believed that science requires more intelligence to study, compared to business? ^^

Erm nope, generally you won't have more advantage than business graduate. May be same or even lower. I'm a science graduate myself, BioMed from Medical Faculty and I know how's our education system generally works.
Frankly speaking, a lot (but not every) of us only knows how to memorise notes and depends on lecturers to provide tips and the Hiring Managers especially from MNC knows about this.
However luck may be at your side if you joined a company with business in medical science. If you perform well during your interview and supported by your good track record of extra-curricular activities, you might as well have higher chance getting hired.

When you join the workforce with a science degree, as what others have said, in Malaysia you won't have much chances to do what you have studied. If you are really interested in research science, then aim for Phd. Otherwise you can forget about doing research based on your Bachelor degree knowledge.

Otherwise, you can join a business company but you need to prepare to learn new things. Whatever you studied before may not be totally lost. Apart from memorising all the facts and vomit back during examinations, when we study science and running our experiment in lab, we also at the same time learning how to plan and execute the plan to achieve our results. After that we also learned how to do analysis based on the results we got.

Though the things we deal with when we working with a business corporation will be different from what we had in our lab/study, the fundamental and the concept will be the same. Just applied to different aspect.

So IMHO, what we study is not so important as on how we adapt when we are working. Especially in difficult times like this...
