Guys, that Liquid cooling need to change in a month? I heard so many things bout this issue that said LC got many probs with coolant. any idea or tips? hehe

Newbie here. Just wanna some clarification about some LC parts. What is:

1. Rod
2. Block
3. CDI
4. TPS

Just heard bout the term but not really clear on how its looks like and how they works and functionality..

If got any important part (really need to care) that i might be missed out. u guys can post it too..

Keem, any tips for what critical things should i give much care (need to change periodically or whatsoever..) for standard LC? Dun want to overclocked it maybe..enuff with stock

Ok i list some of them that i know. U can add more if necessary:
1. Engine oil (Minyak itam rite?),
2. Air filter (kedai said Air filter too?),
3. Coolant,

So keem, as a regular LC biker..recommended to change the OF and EO at the same time? i know its good to change the EO every month rite..so same goes with OF too?


wat do u mean by 15k of use? 15km mileage? hoho..thats mean totally change to a new liquid coolant rite?

Mineral based EO? have it mentioned on the bottle of EO? worried if no lable or something that show its mineral based..can u list some of the EO and also give ur recommendation for best and valueble EO outhere..

before i forget, do i need to change my EO after getting the new bike? or simply wait the 1st services for that?

Ohh the 1 month theory just for a roughly calculation ya? in the specific ways, 3000/<4000KM is the best to start the changing process rite? No Shell or any petrol station EOs recommended?

A bit confused for the coolant. I need to change in every 15km of my riding? 1 day of my ride also makes my way more than 20km i think..
so the real is 15000km?? sorry..

Yesterday just bought Alarm system with remote = RM150, Engine Dirt cover = RM20, Monoshock Dirt cover = RM15 and Coolant cover = RM20 (Near the mudguard, dunno what its called coz that guy in the shop said so and its work like protector from any hard materials that can reach directly onto its like woods, stone etc..i think its radiator hmm? )

Yeah i think its radiator..its look like HSF in PC. Can see clearly from front just behind the Mudguard.

Huhu latest LC 100KMh also feel like max valve already. Really done with a big modified since old LC too fast maybe..hate that cut-off only makes me 4get about speed is the feel of smoothness when riding, changing gear etc

New SS LC only reach 120KM/h??
just wanna try full throttle last time but only reach that speed..

What a big cut-off..or maybe its still new? didnt change any EOs yet since my bike only reach 90KM on the speedometer..

Naoki, u use New edition of LC right? wat date u bought it roughly? seems like ur top speed is good, did ur LC been cut-off too? seems like ur bike was modified a little.. just curious..hehe

Maybe im so impatient to reveal the real speed for my bike..
mine was may 09 bike..all still virgin huhu. Only 1 weird sound i heard comes from exhaust i think..its sounds like "tikk tikk tikk tikk" when i slow down..
wat was that? something inside the exhaust?

Its depend on certain bikes. But to be sure, Standard Old version LC much faster than new version 1..
and its recommended to maintain the speed below 100KMh before reaching 1000km on ur speedometer..normally after the 1st service
or u'll endup with roaring and screaming engine later time..

Petaiman..i've trying remp my bike at full throttle last time..and its only max at 120KMh..
no worries, new LC has been cut-off. Thats y we slightly feel its much slower than the old 1..
but dun do it always since it's not good for ur bike health..

Did NASA GD5 Heavy Duty EO (20w-50w) good?

Just went to the shop that i bought my bike for 1st service @602km and they recommend this EO + NASA Oil treatment Super Duty.

So any1 had any +/- feedback from this EO? No choice for me since i need to take service at there..

1 more, can i start to fully utilized my bike to the top speed after this 1st services? huhu
