We're not teaching weightlifting Shane. We're teaching about keeping fit, basic exercises and execution of these exercises properly, cross-training and what I feel could be the most important one, pre-hab exercises. It'll probably be split into four different categories. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced trainees. Then a special section for weightlifters if there are any in M'sia.
We want to give it a very.... layman feel, not a complex "Mitochondria, scapular retraction blablabla" sorta seminar;
Basically it'll be something like;
1. Explain the various movements and why it's right and wrong.
2. Proceed to let trainees execute movements
3. Routine planning
4. Q/A with refreshments
I'm finding other coaches to ask them how to run a specialized training camp. Pretty much got the answers.
In fact.........
I plan to run the first one very soon......and it's going to be priced at RM
0 per person+2 hours + 1 hour Q/A.
It's free because we feel it'd be a service to the community. And it'll be shorter lah.
