hi there.
i haven't been to LYP for ages, so i'd like to ask SFF'ers here, how many types of m-atx cases available in the market.
cheers.

@rsangel,
that's a very nice bag...looks good enough to carry the SG...and not too "flashy" so as to attract thieves.... |

QUOTE(viruz019 @ Sep 30 2009, 11:22 AM) can owes send to shop to paint it i guess..on the same time ask them mod the casing.potong here potong there..put accrylic glass and some holes to put fans =p..kinda cheap..read from a thread..cutting the case n putting up acrylic oni cost rm30 >< opps sorry...din see ur reply...i decided not to do any mods on it...anyway, i finally got an SSF, even though I believe it's an AH BENG case Added on October 5, 2009, 5:35 pm QUOTE(evolutioner @ Oct 5 2009, 04:00 PM) its pretty good.. but i cant compare it with those top end tower coolers as i only have a tt lanbox.. nice. the w/c looks good. I've used some old school getto style w/c before, and problems like leaks and no water are pain in the backsi_de...but it works doubly well for me as there's no low profile cooler that can handle my oc imho.. this corsair looks good...and "doesn't" leak...I reckon it's very suitable for SFF cases...only thing is the price... it's going for ard rm359 in lyn...but dunno will remain that price or not...even though it's quite economical to run the corsair, it's still abit expensive for folks like me...
the rad can be attached at the rear of the SFF, or internally, anyway, i don't have it, so I wouldn't know... |

WoW...i7 onload at 70degC with w/c!?? well, i'm not familiar with i7, but imho, it's abit dangerous...
c2d procs would have started giving alarms and tripping d... anyway, it' good to know the h50 corsair does prove it's claim...now i just ned to find the moolah to grab it... |

QUOTE(beast921 @ Oct 9 2009, 01:05 PM) after few adjustment, (removed the HDD Cage, cable management abit)... right now the Core Temp reading at: 44'C - 47'C (@3.2Ghz) idle. i think the temps now are around there...my e8400 was also around that temp, when in a full tower casing with numerous fans... anyway, my kids were quite curious and were questioning what the box was(the aopen326)...as it looked different as my other PCs... |

QUOTE(tjay_tj @ Oct 11 2009, 11:19 AM) another thing abou thte aopen is that the casing can fit tower heatsinks.... yup..you're right...the space can accommodate a tower HSF, in which i believe will be good, as the hsf fan on the tower can be aligned "inline"(blowing in the same direction) with the psu fan at the rear...hence assisting the evacuation of hot air via the PSU...maybe you need to do some modding to put extra exhaust fan will make it great i currently have a zalman 9500 cooler in the g326 casing...the temps are quite alright...in Realtemp, my coretemps doesn't exceed 46degC, on HWmonitor(coretemps) doesn't exceed 45degC, on Coretemp doesn't exceed 42degC, on speedfan(coretemps) doesn't exceed 42degC as well... |

QUOTE(beast921 @ Oct 11 2009, 05:11 PM) Nice... Here's a photo of the zalman in the g326 casing...Coz my Killer Whale kindda overwellming , I cant mount my PSU correctly due to KillerWhale heatsink to damn big. I have to Push back few inch my PSU & mount it with cable tide instead of screws. Added on October 12, 2009, 2:22 am QUOTE(evolutioner @ Oct 11 2009, 05:26 PM) dunno whether it will fit or not...didn't take the measurements... Added on October 12, 2009, 2:24 am QUOTE(tjay_tj @ Oct 11 2009, 05:57 PM) I wouldn't mind, but those are high end coolers....my budget was limited...hence had to utilized with what I have... QUOTE(Doom @ Oct 12 2009, 11:19 AM) yes sir...a tower cooler will definitely be more efficient...especially if the PSU has a large fan at the lower side....which is very popular nowadays anyway... Added on October 12, 2009, 12:33 pm QUOTE(beast921 @ Oct 12 2009, 12:23 PM) Wow...nice...much more nicer than my Killer Whale, its even had a small gap. Anyway Thanks bro. Look like it I gonna have to get me another Tower HSF for my SFF setup your killer whale, as mentioned by fr0sti3, is a top-down design...hence the airflow is not working in tandem with the fan of the psu...a tower cooler will definitely be better...I just got a CCF, but donno if it fits... the CCf is for my own rig that I'm in the process of refreshing la...thought of fitting into the g326, but I reckon the CCF is too wide, may get into contact with the casing cover...
