improved production cycle, technology cost improvement etc etc... all contribute to lower pricing. just like PC and storage price... dropping very frequently!

If you know the answer, why on earth are you asking the question in the first place?
*
you may filter out 1st why does the new model cheap ? in fact, the latest model are quite expensive in the 1st place than later on there are going for a promotion as prices drop.tats why i wanted to know why it was chaeper during launching newer model compare to previous model.remember, good item doesn't come with cheap pricing.i just wanna aware abt it.

You are a funny guy, you ask a question, people answer you, obviously that's one of the possible answers. And you say that's not correct? How do you know that is not correct? Do you have the correct answer? You will only know that's not correct if you know the correct answer. If you know the correct answer, why ask the question?

maybe i'm wrong to ask question or perhaps i wrote wrongly.TQ for awareness me.
Sori for what i had written wrongly and tat is my mistake.

Forget the shop name, something like Chujita. Only the electrical shop around the shop-houses with big sign board.

Hi guys, update on my PV80 IR issue.

Panasonic called me up and told me that they will exchange my PV80 with the latest X10 one-to-one and retain my 5 year warranty. This is better than superb service from them. I'm extremely happy with Panasonic.

However, I still love the pv80. Dunno whether should I just keep the pv80. Any users have compared the x10 and pv80 side by side and saw any significant improvement over the older model?? Opinions are most appreciated.

Queensbay Mall, forgot the shop name liao which sell Panasonic Plasma.U may go there to compare PV-80 and X10 but of course that PY-800 are superb hence i'm also thinking to get PY-800 as now prices drop but not so soon.
