I've had Papa John's in the US. Haven't been to Times Square to try it out yet. Best pizza in Malaysia I've tried is Pizza Uno, they have an outlet in USJ Taipan. I only eat the margherita pizza, it's the closest to NY style pizza I've had here.
I miss NY pizza! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York-style_pizza |

Pizza Hut is horrible, they rob you of your toppings and their crust is so oily and bad and nothing like the italian or even american style at all. I have no idea why people even eat there anymore.
Dominos is kinda like the best you can get for your money. Cheap and good with a lot of toppings, especially if you buy the member card, 2 large pizzas for ~RM30, cheapest ever, can't beat that! Canadian pizza is like dogshit, I regret ever eating it lol. Yellow Cab is very good, better than Dominos, but kinda expensive. Pay the price stated with no offers. Pizza Uno quite good..but expensive Didn't try places like Papa John and California Pizza, but I bet they're even more expensive than commercial franchised ones, can't eat on a regular basis. All my opinion only of course! This post has been edited by fearz: Mar 27 2009, 09:01 AM |

I have tried Yellow Cab at Ampang branch ordered 4 Season 18" cost around Rm68. Nothing extraordinary with that price paid plus its too salty. I prefer more on Domino's cuase their sauce are extremely good. |

Then when it arrived at my house I was like f*ck this, this isn't anywhere near NY-style pizza. I prefer chicago deep dish myself, though. |

I just want to know opinion of you guys as I found both of this website offered me different feeling which Pizza Hut is better. Hope you guys can give me some of your comment because I often argue with my friends about it. Thank you

For me, dominos win hands down. Reason? Dont have to give any as Domino beats pizza hut in every department
But if u talk about the website design, i got no idea. Never plan to order from pizza hut thus didnt visit their website. Oh, and i receive 2 regular pizza from domino due to their 5-10 min late delivery which I dont really mind. Pizza hut? when they r late, they just dont come or reach the destination and dont give a damn This post has been edited by Vinci777: Jul 26 2010, 12:15 AM |

Pizza hut is more attractive. as in they really did a good job on the website. but really overall, the taste of pizza hut is just miles behind compared to dominos pizza. dominos' tastes so much fresher and the dough just taste better. also, pizza hut's website may be nice, but Dominos is more 'straight-forward'... im a food-loving guy, and i want it short and simple, not some flashy flash-styled website. erm... for me.. i think pizza hut website is more attractive if compared to the domino's maybe it content flash. but for customer of pizza the flash is not much important (for me) the important is the service offered. As i know that Domino's delivery area got much limited than pizza hut maybe due to amount the branches the Domino's is less than pizza hut. While content i can say that the pizza hut had provided the content are much more detail than domino's? haha

the new domino's website is better than previous design but still lacking in some ways. one big problem i noticed is that they have no pre-set addresses so we can just tick the one that is correct, but a lot of misspelt addresses that users typed out. so messy!
any malaysian-based company website that uses too much flash is just too stupid. they don't know streamyx is shitty meh? still make us wait 10mins for ur website to load, u think customers will be happy to go to ur website again? |

Being a regular customer, calling Domino's pizza to deliver 2-3 times a month. Domino pizza wins in service delivery and punctuality. Ordering is also quite simple.
Pizza hut on the other hand, uses the old "Boleh Lah Land" mentality originated u know from who. But I still think pizza hut pizza is better then Domino. By the way who cares, Domino pizza is also good. Tasting good itself doesnt do, people now days need good service. This post has been edited by rattan: Jul 26 2010, 01:40 PM |

Domino vs Pizza Hut? Domino better. It is the issue of crust and the balance of topping.
However, if we still talk about fast food pizza.....Papa John's..... |

I used to prefer dominoes until I went to Midvalley's branch. They served me raw, cold chicken wings, with blood. I was in a good mood and asked for a replacement.
Second plate, new wings. How delighted I was. Only to find it's the same problem. Immediately I called the manager and brought the plate over to the counter. Funny how they could just smile at me ignorantly and apologising, not knowing the severity of this. |

I like Pizza Hut but that was decades ago. I now hate eating Pizza Hut cos their toppings, cheese and sauce is getting less and less. It is like eating bread flavored with pizza!
I guess that's why, most of the time I see Pizza Hut's customer eating their Pizza with tons of chilli sauce to make it taste better. At one time they even stop supplying Tabasco sauce! |

Between Pizza Hut & Dominos..
I recommend the thin crust from Dominos as it really taste good.. (especially for BBQ Chicken) I banned Pizza Hut few years bacK (around 10 years) as they didnt wan to make the dleivery to my hse area as they say my hse area is Kampung & there is no delivery to there.... (with excuses there is no branch around whereby the nearst branch to my hse only took 10 minutes journey). Anyway, the pizza is like makan roti canai add tuna... i better go for roti canai as their bread is really thick and the ingredients is little as it costs them thousand of ringgit... If wan to taste a good nice pizza, i personally recommend the Pizza from Coconut House from Jonker Street, Malacca. So far it is the best!!! It is thin and big... But the main is the flavour is amazing.. true italian pizza.. thumbs up for the Coconut House... Cheers^^ |

That day got tempted by Pizza Hut's cheese pizza, dunno what it's proper name is called.
Went to Pizza Hut and still feel so disappointed. So I will swear another time that I'll never go to Pizza Hut again. Papa John if dine in. Domino if home delivery. |

I like pizza hut's side dishes and the cheesy lava.
Skippy pizza is great too. Non-halal though. The garlic sauce(real minced garlic!) and belacan goes pretty well with the pizza |

Papa John: Good aroma...not my taste
ViVo pizza: You're like eating crackers with pizza toppings. Too dry for my tastes PizzaHut: I liked it actually, really soft but yeah too kedekut for some toppings. and the best pizza that ever goes into my mouth is Domino's. I really liked the classified chicken. Tangy sweet and really addictive. |

Papa john is good only with garlic butter sauce. But they are very stingy on the sauce. Lately, they have been diluting the sauce and it taste so watery. Somemore charge RM1 for each diluted garlic butter sauce -.-".. |

Eat before. Domino pizza is really cheap but thier taste so so only. Thier delivery services also one of the best. Though I too frequent abuse thier coupon. Now I see domino pizza I want vomit... Papa john taste is still unique and more better than most current pizza. Provided that they stop being stingy on the garlic butter sauce. Yellow cab is something new.. so feel like trying. |

i just wrote a letter to Pizza hut malaysia..below is the letter
ubject: Please learn how to prepare and cook pizza from the italians! Hi there, Please read the message title over and over again, yes, thats right. The pizzas prepared by your chefs or staffs are utterly hopeless and i dont think it should be call a pizza! Its like eating an hard rock bread with chewing gum on it....haha...funny ya!.......Please send your chefs and cooks to Italy and learn from them how to prepare pizza as it should be,fresh, juicy and tasty. The pizzas now are total embarassment, even more embarrasing selling pizzas under the Pizza Hut brand... I am not a chef but i can make nice juicy fresh pizza. PLease Please dun embarass Pizza Hut Malaysia..so many tourist came to your restaurants and the left not smiling...Please change name from Pizza hut Malaysia to Pizza Chewing Gum Malaysia! |

QUOTE(saigetsu @ Jul 18 2017, 03:17 PM) fast forward 2017 IMHO not much difference between those 2, so for me I just choose which one offers a better promotion at a point in time. For side orders though Pizza Hut has more choices.i never eaten pizza hut since 2012. now gatal tangan. how is it compared to domino? |

I wish Paisano's Pizza come to MY. I've tried it in HK and honestly this is the best pizza I've ever tried (at least as far as I recall in the last 10 yrs or so). After trying this pizza, all pizzas in MY just taste meh...

Dominos crusts taste very plain. Meanwhile at Pizza Huts, they are slightly fried while baked which makes them flavorful along with the toppings.

Depends on the branch. I usually try at one branch then I went to the other branch and it tasted awesome. The Domino's crust at the other branch taste quite good. Quite a bit of flavour. This post has been edited by wotvr: Aug 9 2018, 03:41 AM |

QUOTE(abby_lee.95 @ Aug 3 2018, 09:44 PM) I noticed the original thread is created way back in 2009 whereby most of the people are saying Pizza Hut pizzas suck and Domino is better. So what is the scenario now? Tables turned? I rarely take pizza but if I did, usually it is both Domino and Pizza Hut. Both are acceptable to me. I forgot which one was it but the last time I tried the pizza, (bad memory, not too sure whether it is Pizza Hut or Domino), it was just damn awful. When I took a bite, all I tasted in my mouth was roti kosong only. It is tasteless as there is very little topping and sauce. The cheese, thousand island sauce, tomato sauce etc. macam tak ada. The end result is the taste of roti kosong. Damn kedekut and teruk. For this particular case, I think it is not so much about Domino or Pizza Hut but the particular branch or the workers who are preparing the pizza. The worker on the particular outlet who prepared the pizza which was delivered to me at that time was just terrible. I might as well just buy some Gardenia bread and spread some cheese on top instead of ordering pizza if this is the quality they are giving me. Anyway enough of the rant. Just my unlucky day that the particular employee of the pizza outlet was trying to save some money for the boss (or outlet) by drastically reducing the cheese, sauce or toppings. On top of that, the bread is not heated properly and just tastes like roti kosong. There is no flavour to the crust and the bread is lembik instead of rangup. Intead of a proper pizza, it's like a thick roti kosong with drastically reduced toppings and sauce. I didn't order pizza anymore after that. The employee who prepared the pizza should be fired as he was giving the outlet a bad name. By producing a shitty quality pizza, he may be saving money for the outlet but losing customers in the long-run. This post has been edited by Dwango: Aug 10 2018, 12:02 PM |

Pizzas at La Risata, D'sara and Trattoria il Porcellino, Menara Hup Seng are pretty good.
