Are you from Kepong? If you take NKVE, roughly about 40 minutes.

rm20 per day? can we cook on our own on the hostel? how about printing? as a multimedia student, im sure there would be TONS of thing need to be printed out, A4 are common but if its about A2 A3 types.. normally how much would they charges us?

1st year on hostel right? how bout on the second and third years?

if we plan to take loan such as MARA and PTPTN, how long would the process takes? wondering this since i had an experiences that required me to selfpay on the 1st sem before the loan were approved.

nope from kelantan but have a house in kepong...if i have been selected to do the foundation in cyberjaya then my 3rd place to live would be in kepong~..anyway thanks for the info..really appreciate..

Not sure about the loan. RM20 per day is just my suggestion. You cannot cook in hostel. About the printing, the are few printing shops in Cyberjaya. Streetmall got one behind the art shop if I'm not mistaken. If you want cheaper, got few students offering this service. They do freelance printing service. Normally can find them in hostel. Beside printing, you need to use mounting board a lot. Almost every assignments for presentation purpose.

Second year they ask you to stay outside. Prefer Cyberia because the place is near. You still can stay in hostel if you want to. But you need to appeal.

Kepong is quite far. If everyday you drive from Kepong, sure tiring. Hard for you to concentrate on your studies.

Consider also using KL-Putrajya highway (along Jalan Sungai Besi, near the smart tunnel) if you know the roads around KL. Its much faster if you use that road during off-peak period.

wuah.. seems like there's more money related problem need to get worried ;(

To go to Kepong, it is better to take NKVE instead of Putrajaya-KL-Tun Razak. Because Kepong side is more toward North West. And Putrajaya-KL-Tun Razak more toward North East. Same to MRR2.


At least far away cheaper compare to other private universities.

uhh someone, can share some thought on 1,2,3,4,5 accommodation with price included?

anyway the syllabus for foundation in engineering is equal rite even when we study in different campus?
after completing the foundation program do i get the ability to change/transfer into other university/campus rite?

From what I get from their webby, this is what I get

1 - RM195 - 210
2 - RM 250 - 300

Comparing 2 to 3, which wan is nearer to MMU? And which is cheaper?

One semester normally got 4 months. RM 20 x 4(30) = RM 2400 (for makan)

Yes! Creative Multimedia student's assignment will use a lot of money!
But if you know where to get the materials and where to print...
you wont need to use Rm2400 per sem..

btw, FCM student here...
I can survive 1month using about rm200[include buying assignment materials]

I feel lucky now.. I spend around RM350 on food per month.. Since I have a melaka GF now, and her mum most of the time cook for me, lagi safe! muahaha. but i got buy bek things and bring them around to ganti bek la..

1,nearest but filthiest 160 per month
2.near but the guards are all bangala and cant comm with them 200- 400
3.not sure
4.saw an ad in property that rent the whole unit for 2.5 . 2.5/7ppl around 350
5. nice but far and jam during 5-7pm rent whole house only 800

Its the same between both campus
about other uni accepting,its up to the uni(you wanted to apply )actually.

2 nearer.2 also cheaper than 3

you can survive..depends on how you manage your expenses.
one of my friend ate bread for the whole month,and only spends <rm100(not including rental)

melaka different la...the food there is much more cheaper than cyber.. 1 yee mee at least rm4 and above.at melaka you still can find food cost rm3 or lower and taste better

I answer this from my own understanding, maybe Fruitie can help out answering this too.

Melaka is a much more vibrant place than cyber. There is a better variety of food there at a cheaper price too and tastier too.
Cyber is rather peaceful/quiet/isolated due to its location.It is also the location too that causes common items such as maggi,soap,drinks and even food sold there slightly more expensive than hypermarkets and melaka.

I believe that you yourself will be the best thing there is to control your study environment. But,if you are the type that needs the environment to control your habit, I strictly recommend you to stay in MMU Cyber's hostel. I myself was a lazy bump back in my tarc days and flopped badly. After enrolling into cyber, the environment did help me to change into a better person. But still.. it boils down to yourself.
I am from the Cyberjaya campus. Regarding the environment, refer to my reply to loyallovehuatyen.
For accountancy, both campuses follow a similar course structure and syllabus, right down to the same exam paper. I got no info regarding the lecturers there but the my friends in Melaka are quite proud of their lecturers while we in Cyber are proud of ours too. (there will be some lousy lecturers here and there, nothing's perfect)
