QUOTE(ffrulz @ Mar 26 2009, 05:47 PM) Last Remnant won't run well with this machine sad to say. Bro, do you get the frame rate correct? Low settings with shadows turned off should perform better.Medium settings all with Shadows to Low = 20fps Low settings with Shadows turned off = 17fps. Either the CPU is bottlenecked to hell or the infamous Ati performance on this game is that bad. Acer logo on the lid will not light up. I'm thinking to take this model to sell to LYN members? Is anyone interested? |

Ashburn, you got my PM.
You can use PC Mark Vantage, Super Pi and WPrime95 to determine the performance of the CPU. |

QUOTE(cloud0188 @ Mar 28 2009, 05:46 PM) I saw the actual unit today. Looks and feels solid. My only gripe would be the 2 USB ports on the left hand side. Only having 2 ports would mean one for mouse and one more for external hardisk. This means if I had a pendrive, GG liao That's when USB hub comes into handy. But the 3 year warranty, original windows and 4gb ram would be the winning points. |

4935G is definitely better by having Intel Core2 Duo P8400 and nVidia 9300M GS.

QUOTE(NEWBIES YF @ Mar 31 2009, 07:08 PM) actually the modelacer aspire 4935-"642g25", features Sorry about it. I didn't notice the spec numbers behind the model. Well, in terms of graphic performance HD3470 pawns X4500MHD for sure. However, T6400 is a bit better than T4200. I can only find the benchmark of T6400 but not T4200 at http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Proces...ist.2436.0.html. Well, you should try google.Acer Aspire 4935 Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6400 (2.13GHz, 2MB Cache, 800MHz FSB) Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset with integrated 3D graphics, featuring Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (Intel® GMA 4500MHD) with up to 1,759MB of Intel® Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0 (64MB of dedicated system memory, up to 1,695MB of shared system memory), supporting Microsoft® DirectX® 10 Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 5100/5300 (dual-band quad-mode 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N) Wi-Fi CERTIFIED® network connection, featuring MIMO technology, supporting Acer SignalUp™ with Nplify™2 wireless technology 14" HD 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, high-brightness (200-nit) Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit TFT LCD, supporting simultaneous multi-window viewing via Acer GridVista, 16:9 aspect ratio 250GB HDD 2GB DDR2 RAM Memory (upgradeable to 4GB) Added on March 31, 2009, 7:11 pmif with windows vista home, price:rm2399. is it nore worth to choose this model, instead of 4730zg??? do u thk in pcfair, price will go down some more?? |

hafz, are you going to use very demanding photo editing software like Photoshop CS4? I think this notebook works very well because of the dedicated graphic card and the large capacity of rams.

QUOTE(d1stant @ Apr 3 2009, 01:55 PM) Hi, I'm considering to buy this laptop too and i wanted to get on the last day of PC fair for convenience, just wanna ask there will be stock left or not cause i will be going quite late at around 7pm like that, is there any freebies given at pc fair if i were to buy the laptop? The freebie that I think you will get is notebook lock, usb hub, a mouse and maybe a cooler. This notebook is really cost effective. I'm not sure if it will be swept by people during the last day. @Cloud, thanks for supporting. |

QUOTE(zeustronic @ Apr 1 2009, 09:02 AM) the latest is 4937G C2D P8400 still upgraded to 2GB DDR3 (NVidia G105M 512MB is rename from 9300GS It's not actually renamed. G105M is a combination of 2 chips. One is 9100M G (dedicated) and another is 9400M (integrated). When intensive graphic processing is needed, both of them will run in HybridSLI mode. Otherwise, it will only run on 9400M which saves energy. You guys can check it out here.New model 4937 Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 (2.0Ghz, 2MB, 800Mhz FSB) Upgraded 2GB DDR3 http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForc...5M.13790.0.html Added on April 4, 2009, 12:24 pmCloud, my supplier told me that the spec of the 4937G available in Malaysia now is nearly the same as the 4935G except the implementation of DDR3 ram. If it has G105M, it is certainly a plus. This post has been edited by Mr.LKM: Apr 4 2009, 12:24 PM |
