Design wise, I have to agree... the iphone is the fashion choice. But it is just so outdated. And the plans that maxis are offering are a joke. They are selling a one year old phone for brand new prices. And I think a lot of people on this forum might be used to symbian. So there is the OS issue. As for the samsung hd, if you are thinking about that price range, and want the symbian os, then the n97 will be another option when it officially comes out. The good thing about the n97 is the onboard keyboard. And I just read that samsung is launching 13 new touch screen phones in the coming months. So... choices choices choices Haha... personally, satisfied with the value for money of the tube, provided you can overlook the quality issues (earpiece, lcd, etc)

Hey anyone here using nokia wellness diary? I have a problem. When I try to start the program, it just closes, nothing comes up. I did a search, at nokia beta labs some guy has the same problem. Tried reinstalling, same problem still there. Anyone know where it stores its data so i can erase it. Tried deleting the config.dat files from stepcounter and sports tracker. Aspire any idea?

Hey aspire, Got it working. Had to uninstall and delete the config.dat files from both stepcounter and sportstracker. It does not list 5800 there but it does work with our phone. Many users have used the software. It is pretty cool. Can track exercise, sleep, food, stress etc. Also can sync with stepcounter if you install that. Stepcounter can count how many steps you do in a day. Install and try it out Me gonna start using it today, see how many steps i take in a day (using the accelerometer to determine how many steps we make)

The curse of v20. Was on a call then after i finished the call, all the lights lit up and the screen went blank. Only fix is to remove the battery. Cant restart the phone. Happens maybe twice a week. Only with v20. Really hope nokia releases a new firmware. My friend who is using v20 reported the same prob.

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Mar 21 2009, 10:18 PM) The map is not up to date. My house is not in the map at all... but there is one version quite good. The South East Asia City Navigator NT this combines all countries in SEA and it includes Thailand so those driving up north can use that but that map is even more expensive. Hey guys, I guess we could pay for the official maps. However, mfm are updated every 2 weeks and so far i have been using it and it has not let me down. I am sure the official maps are not updated that frequently. It is like windows vs linux. Just because we pay for windows does not mean it is better. Open source is the way and mfm is doing that well.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 21 2009, 10:56 PM) i agree kinda like MFM for now. Very up to date. The roads here in malaysia change everyday. The official maps are probably outsourced to malaysians to make. And prob to those involved in mfm. So at the end of the day mfm is the way to go cause its done locally, updated frequently and is free. I am not a mfm spokesperson, just love their maps

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Mar 21 2009, 11:30 PM) Bro how bad is the light leakage? Actually if under the light you don't see it, that is not light leak. Yes in pitch black dark we can see the light leak but the real people who face light leak can see it even in broad daylight. Is yours that bad? Btw I have mentioned this before in the previous thread. The gap there is actually for heat ventilation that is why u see the light leak. If it is tight shut your phone is gonna heat up like a hot air baloon Mine is not the one at the side of the phone. My lcd was fading/turning purple so I took it and got it fixed (they replaced it). Now I am having light leakage at several areas at the top of the phone. Not very obvious but I am guessing it is cause they did not fix the lcd perfectly. So the light leak at the side is not something that we want them to fix, might heat up the phone? Cause I was gonna ask them to fix all the light leakage. . .

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Mar 21 2009, 11:48 PM) U look carefully in the gap u will see the hole is nicely cut just for the xpressmusic media button. The size is too precise for it to be a mistake Thanks man, Will prob go but just ask them to sort out the light coming out from the top of the screen and not the hole that is present for ventilation. Mine is a unique case, cause after the lcd was changed there is slight light coming out from the top of the screen. Think they just have to tighten the screw on the top or something (hope: fingers crossed

Got these cross arrows and the time. You click the cross arrows u will be brought to 'Connectivity' and you can turn on stuff like your bluetooth and wifi. Kinda cool shortcut cool shortcut, Now i can substitute the wlan wizard shortcut that I had on my start page for something new
