To fellow members of FnF,
Commercial Banners are not allowed in lowyat and therefore banners like carlist are to be removed from your signatures asap. Please remove your signatures by today as I will nuke those signatures on sight and issue warning to those who accept offers from carlist.com.my to advertise their banners in their siggie.

Just found that they have been approaching some of the members and paying them to put up the list, even though the admins had talked to their boss and agreed that they do it the proper way. I guess there must have been some misunderstanding within their company.

so where is Carlist.my gonna post their advertisement in LYN?

i remember a user called ivandass who kept promoting it in almost every thread in FNF, i'm unsure whether he did venture to other forum lar..

FYI, LYN no allowed duplicate accounts for each person...

that was also one of the few reasons this whole carlist thing got out of hand when some of the admins detected dupe accounts.

1) I did not say that it was OK either. Remember that I did ask you to email the admins of this site to get their approval. I never gave the go ahead for you as I was waiting for the admins to decide too.

2) Your carlist banner is commercially related, meaning that your business benefits from the banner and you are also paying people for it. For somebody who runs a business via a web site, it's sad that you can't tell the difference between my banner and your commercial banner.

3) My banner does nothing as it does not contain any link and it refers to a personal forum that belongs to me and it has the approval of the admin, namely se7en himself. Your banner on the other hand, has a link that refers to a commercial site and that you are paying people for posting with your banner. You will not find another banner of mine unless somebody copied it and put it in their siggie on their own (which I doubt would happen since it's not the best looking banner around).

4) Finally, if I'm not mistaken, you did talk to our admins and the answer was NO. That was also on the same day that you message me. You could have recalled your banners but you didn't, hence I have to put up this message to remove them after consulting with the admins. Removal on sight was an instruction from the admin to all moderators/staff, not just to me. You know how to contact the member to put it up but you didn't know how to contact them to remove it.

WK is admin. His nick is wkkay. He is trying to get you the rate cards to properly advertise on lowyat.net instead of approaching our members directly.
