Rare would be a bit of an understatement. Cryogenic coolers are normally used in labs where LN2 is frequently used in small amounts, takes quite a while for the device to liquify a large quantity of LN2.

Companies like MOX make LN2 using fractional distillation of air, so its cheaper as you get a lot at once unlike cryogenic machines which do it drop by drop. Either way no one would actually own that kind of equipment, its just shocking.gif shocking.gif shocking.gif expensive.

erm..what the different between fractional seperation and cryogenic? hmm.gif hmm.gif

isnt it just the same thing. i still remember my last visit to PFK. there they use that fractional separation of air to get nitrogen in their fertilizer manufacturing process. since other substance (of air...) will turn to liquid before nitrogen do when they cool it down. so, they can extract high purity of nitrogen from air. these technique named as cryogenic separation... icon_rolleyes.gif

1 noob question..is DICE n liquid nitrogen expensive?
*
its about rm5 a kg for dice, and ln2 is about rm 8 per liter

a bench session should use 5kg of dice and 15 liters of ln2, respectively, depends if u wanna bench ln2 or dice.
