Companies like MOX make LN2 using fractional distillation of air, so its cheaper as you get a lot at once unlike cryogenic machines which do it drop by drop. Either way no one would actually own that kind of equipment, its just my uni wanna cut cost, so they just buy from supplier. cheaper (they said..)
