My 1 week pass just expired but it keeps on going. I'm wondering what would happen if my computer turned off.

just wanna to know the term of weekly broadband?
is that 5gb for 1 week?
the next week resubscribe still able to use 5gb?

Daily plan is 1gb
Weekly plan is 2gb
everytime subcribe will be the new fair usage quota
for normal celcom broadband D68 and D98 is 5gb

Aik when celcom prepaid capped to 2gb/wk? isn't is suppose to be unlimited? So far been using celcom prepaid weekly for torrenting...normally ~ 4GB per week..no slowdown leh..

IIRC, those are the fair usage policy. Something to do with if you reach those quota, your download speed will be capped to some minimum values etc. Cause i am pretty sure on my Prepaid, it doesn't stop after 2GB for Weekly Usage

Yeah...me too...I'm heavy torrenting using celcom prepaid. Only do it when I go for sleep.. Every night manage to DL ~ 800-1GB data. wth avg speed f 45KB/s...i.e almost max liao. So within 3 days for sure breached 2GB, yet still having same speed after that wor..

yup fup doesn't stop the service, just capped the speed to 64/128kbps.

Ehhh..The purpose of us (me) subscribing this limited speed package compare to Maxis 3G which having up to 3.6mbps speed (yeah I'm using this too & yes can achieve avg 2000++ kbps) is obvious.

No pint of subscribing unlimited plan when behind the scene they put a cap just like DIGI & MAXIS although they dun cap the speed.

So I subscribe both Maxis & Celcom prepaid..One for general speed viewing & another more like 24/7 torrenting...

That page is general page lah woi..U are looking at genral page. U hv to look at the FAQ under Celcom prepaid only. I hv been using prepaid sinceday one it 1st started. ..DC yes pretty coomon..lucky my area is OK..but sometime do face DC problem so dod Maxis BB & Digi too (Which is the worst in my area) ..haha


If this advert here replace by the fair policy do u think I will not be the one complaining something that I terminated my shitty P1 b4 24 mth contract period

i asked at celcom center about the weekly unlimited prepaid and the quota limit, they answer me with something like dis -

"unlimited" in weekly unlimited is for the internet connection, not for the quota/allocated data volume. weekly unlimited means u will get 1i full week internet connection, they wont cut your internet connection even if u meet the limit but they can/will cap the speed. for 1 full week u will get unlimited internet access (not unlimited data volume) with speed up to 384kbps (384kbps or lower) with 2gB allocated data volume

If you are sure I already bombard them liao..well so far still able to torrent although keeps on breaching >2GB 3-4 days after torrenting...

Unlimited meaning Unlimited data..No such thing as capping when they telling that as unlimited. Like dat what's is the purpose subscribing for prepaid unlimited? RM80/mth leh at only 384kbps

when i first know prepaid got limit i oso rage nia.. but they nvr cap the speed so i keep downloading only..
