You're right! Originally, I want to buy below 1.20, waited so long still at 1.28. When I think 1.28 also ok lar, then the price jump to 1.31. I wonder how much will Axreit go up next week. May think of switching to Atrium instead. BTW, I already got some atrium...

QUOTE(Muliku @ Apr 1 2009, 08:28 AM) Just to share this for those who are planning to tambah MBB shares Happy trading .... DJ MARKET TALK: Maybank +3.8% Trading Ex-Rights; May Slip Later - 2009-03-31 03:37:00.0 0337 GMT [Dow Jones] Maybank (1155.KU) +3.8% at MYR3.80 in heavy volume, trading ex-rights for proposed 9-for-20 rights issue priced at MYR2.74 each. Dealers say stock rebounding after yesterday's 6% fall. "Selling pressure was quite heavy yesterday, ahead of the ex-rights date but this bounce may only be temporary. Maybank is looking expensive at this level," says dealer. Affin Investment Bank's analyst Rachel Huang retains Sell rating with MYR3.0 fair value target based on 0.8X P/BV on calendarized ROE of 9.7% 2010, cost of equity of 12.0% and long-term growth rate of 1.0%. "Should we include MYR2.0 billion impairment loss (from investments in Pakistan and Indonesia), we are looking at additional downgrade to ROE by 3.1 percentage points for FY09, EPS downgrade of 34.5% FY09, book value coming off by 2.8% FY09, and another 70 sen downgrade to our target price," she adds. The PE ratio used for Lionid is exceptionally low (as the figure is based on previous FY). Assuming Q3&4 no loss or profit, EPS is around 8.69, a more realistic PER should be 7.02. Then the whole scenario will be different... Just my opinion...

Now is too late to join Maybulk jor! I see more downside than upside mainly due to BDI. I just decided to drop Maybulk from my shopping list. Maybe can consider next month...

Very good advice! So, any advice on how long can market sustain its green?
QUOTE(cherroy @ Apr 2 2009, 11:21 AM) My advice is if you are going to sell then use the money to buy another counter, it is advisable not to sell at all. If market sink, mostly sink together, if market rise, mostly rise together. So switching here and there and more in and out of the market will only increase your chance of mistake. Either hold if you view market is going up or sell if you view it is not sustainable and wait the market. Unless your existing counter had some issue on its own. Need to have good strategy to play this market. Selling one then straight away buying another just like you are betting big and small simultaneously, which chance of you will lose because of brokerage fee is high unless you are brilliant and precise enough to time exactly and getting right on both counters movement. Just an advice, don't mean now it is good or bad time to sell. Judge your own. |

Catch the next boat lor! Market sentiment suddenly improve so much! Unlikely to sustain. Since both of us is going for long term investment, buy when you feel the price is right. No plan to sell my golden goose or money losing counter yet! Of course, if something really wrong with the company, then of course sell lar!

For long term investment, don't dump first! Theoretically, this company is better than Top Glove, but the PE ratio is much lower. Harta is those kind of company that is quite recession proof. BTW, their year end report coming out soon! See the divident first lar!
