Women buy multiple pairs of shoes for multiple reasons, it has a lot to do with mix-matching with what they wear, the style hey fancy / desire, how they FEEL on a particular day and what occasion is it for. It also involves the aspect of comfort versus style.

So since there are many tops, colors, moods, comfort level, and occasions, they need to match accordingly giving every of those aspect some consideration, hence why they need many pairs. Different mix of all these aspects require a different type of shoe. hence i full understand why.

Also, many guys fail to notice that women's shoes tend to wear out faster than the male shoes due to the thinner more delicate material made for the delicate creature ^.^. Havent you noticed why your gf's have 1 or 2 pairs of SPORTS / JOGGING shoes, and why she has plenty of heels or flats ?

At least thats how i think it works.
