Saja saja drop by. kancil 1998 660manual, current FC, rm10 = 110-120km

more of like from my home-work (around shah alam) with morning jam. not too bad jam la, smooth flowing with a 'jam' section.

Anyways, did some heavy travelling past 2 weeks.

Rm90 fuel (pump subsequently) = 1050km

I would describe my driving as medium footed

Route= subang- shah alam - sg long - shah alam, back to my hometown (3ppl) - back to shah alam


kancil 660c Manual

Bros, got a problem with my kancil 660m. Before the engine oil change was perfectly well. Here’s the story

- normal oil change done by foreman (Samlube – 10/w30) & filter. After change, initially driving was normal, then at nite, it got worst, sort of like loud knocking noise comig from the engine. Only then I realized, the TEMPERATURE had skyrocketed to the MAX. any ideas what went wrong?

- engine oil level - CHECKED OK
- radiator reservoir - CHECKED OK

water pump fail?

Anyways dropping by ... constantly checking on my car's FC

Rm10 gives around 100-110km (city + suburban driving)

yeah..gonna drive this tranny till it breaks into pieces

Just a sharing here. Kancil 660m 1995

RM10 brings me 110km, 50%fast speed-50% urban stop go

~ 20km/l

Max i tried was pumping 30L. That was like driving around 150km more after the 'E' level. no guts to try further

Should be ok, i'm currently getting around 17-18km/l. light footed though.

yeah i usually pump esso/petronas. I 'noticed' petronas gives a slightly better power delivery.

Shell's the worst . power drop

So today i did some parts change:

Kancil 660m
a) rear brake pump + brake oil+labor = rm48 each
b) rear brake shoes= rm70 (for both sides)
c) rear absorber (KYB premium) = rm60 each

those price reaosnable?

Changed both sides drive shaft + labour + GB oil = rm410

Car feels much better now

Kancil 660M 1995. mileage around 156xxx

my wife travels to UM everyday from Subang, despite the some traffic jams (go 945am , back 4pm), kancil averages out 17km/l

unfortunately, a combination of heavy downpour+ window fogging+ no road lighting + curvy road yesterday caused me to oversteer kancil off to the road divider. car jumped heavily, rim deformed + tyre burst instantly

TOTAL damaged today rm 820, changed front lower arm( rm120 each) , goodyear stock tire (rm135 each), alignment rm25, + some mis spare parts, break pads etc.

glad to be stil alive, n relatively small damaged. kancil lives on another day
