will try cheeann's way. learned a new thing today. another thing about your statement is if the alternator NOT ok, the engine will dies off and meaning it's taking the power direct from the battery itself, am i right?

guys...later i will be sending my car to the workshop do to a major overhaul...will be replacing the clutch,timing belt,port and polish head,retune the engine...wont be transplanting to L2s as its wayyyy out of my budget...

recently... err..last week i went for servicing...i switch engine oil from shell helix hx5 10w30 to . petronas synthium 800 10w30(synthium not mach5 k) .

bought oil filter ori from perodua. it been a week since i change the oil.
from my observation . the FC decreased significantly. err.. atleast for me..

b4 engine oil service. way way b4 the service
RM40 tank
will last around 170-180km.

but currently i gain 20km-35km EXTRA per RM40 full tank

normally i reseted my trip meter after refill. now my rm40 will last 205-220km....

i guess u all shud try the oil.

price tag for this oil RM75/3Liter bought from petronas mesra kiosk

anyway..my car now is out from the workshop...cost me 1.4k for everything...including aircond service...haven manage to really get to test da power yet..will be trying later...but i do notice when i rev da engine to about midrange,there is a whining sound...sounds good to me though...haha...

mechanic says is still ok...so no need to change..hehe..

im not so sure bout this..but its written "clutch kit" on the receipt..

Actually got one more brand. Can get from a LYN member as well also NSR. The stromberg I-VS also quite reasonably cheap and it does the job. Quite effective for ECU cars.

I wonder do they do rear-wheel alignment in their Perodua workshop??
