i still cant get to any C. matches....all i manage to search are either 0 - 1 bar only......
i think i really need to try the 'Improve your connection....' writeup tonite.... Someone did connect to me, but it was only 1 bar, and it was lag extravaganza......and he quit in frustration after first round.... This post has been edited by fremont88: Apr 28 2009, 09:45 AM |

masteralvin, u got it right...no matter how hard the opponent, its still better to fight with someone better, to learn from it, and to get better from it....
to me, casual or pro players should not be segregated.. |

QUOTE(MasterAlvin @ May 4 2009, 10:20 AM) Madcatz TE is doubtlessly the best looking (perhaps the best feeling) fight stick out there in the market right now. i never tested it before, so i cannot say for sure...but for those who have the TE, besides the cable compartment and the artwork, is there any diff to a hrap3 with full sanwa mod? |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ May 4 2009, 10:58 AM) fremont, tks mike, but if the palm rest is so huge, then i can't possibly put it on my lap to play rite?i have the luxury to play on TE for few hours 2 weeks ago when it first reach our shore ... i can say that TE is better than HRAP3 generally but NOT miles ahead. However, If you compare TE with HRAP3 + SANWA mod, the gap between these two close down even further. For me personally, the ONLY thing that would make me switch to TE is the space it offers for your palm to rest. IMHO , that is the only real advantage TE has over HRAP3 + SANWA mods. The rest of it HRAP3 can be mod easily to match or surpass TE i.e buttons, sticks and arts. boogalist, Nice stick you have there, your custom stick seems to be based on Saulabi sticks. May i ask, how heavy is the whole thing cuz it looks massive i am doing that with my hrap3 now, put it on my lap to play.... |

QUOTE(Mart @ May 4 2009, 11:07 AM) I agree with mikeeeee on the TE advantage but HRAP 3 has better compatiblity with PC (if you plan it to use for emulators) + its way cheaper including the SANWA mods. good to know on the compatibility issue, i still do play kawaks and ggpo occasionally using the hrap3, as old arcade games just feel so much better using a stick....TE has compatibility issue with PC for those using AMD cpus & nForce chipset mobos also if you check out SRK forums, TE has higher failure rate compare with HRAP 3 PCB boards. guess no TE for me then... |

bro, actually the dimension of TE is almost similar to HRAP, the reason for the big palm rest area is because button and joystick placement itself. If you notice, the buttons n stick of TE is place slightly higher than middle of the face plate compared to HRAP. This is also made possible because like Eddy mentioned, the start select buttons are not on the face plate but at the back of the stick, good design as this will definitely avoid some unnecessary pauses during fights hehe ========================================================================================= tell me about it..i play tekken 5, many times i accidentally press start+select together, my game restart..woo hoo.....tension..... so, where can i go see and test the great TE? mikee, tks for the few matches....
i just love the last 3 rounds man......lol.... Added on May 5, 2009, 9:13 am QUOTE(rawfish @ May 4 2009, 06:18 PM) Besides Cammy and alt-costume DLC Chun Li, personally I feel that the TE sits better on my lap. Aside from the spacious 'palm-rest' area, its front edges have just the right thickness and is not too chunky as the HRAP3, though when gaming seriously whichever stick I use will always be ON a steady table. lol...in reality, i think the only thing that's gonna sit on your lap for now is the TE out of those 3....hahahahanyway, nice desc of the TE...now make me salivate.
