not midbox s-type, midbox got restrictive type. but it's for A/T car only (info from mechanic). now i have one stainless steel S-flow muffler and restrictive mid-box at home. i change it because now im using 4g93T. so previous 1.5A/T de exhaust box i kept at home liao.
4g93T cant use restrictive or s-flow exhaust system. later the turbine 'KONG', then i also 'KONG'... This post has been edited by wailup: Apr 24 2009, 12:06 PM |

QUOTE(alvinz @ Apr 24 2009, 02:04 PM) wah ... king kong climbing out .... mind donating part of it to me? ... donating? maybe yes.. after 5 years? can wait? hahhaha..btw u change engine only right? .. air cond stuff no need change right? i feel like throw my car at the mech to diagnose the problem ... but then cannot fix 1st .. diagnose then let me know only fix .. coz last time i took my mom's car with an idea of diagnose, turn out the mech repiar everything and cost 2k+, kena steam fried by my mom .... i change everything, all the half cut things i take. air cond, radiator, gearbox, dashboard, aircond digital panel, speedometer. senang cakap, the one i din take is the lancer front light, bumper, signal. i maintain my wira looks. the mechanic jahat loh.. sometimes even you 'TELL' them to inform the price 1st before repairing, yet, they will say, 'AIYA, I FORGOT'. but things are already DONE.. what to do.. tell me loh.. so, i like to take my day off, and 'supervise' the mechanic as much as i can. friend or no friend, dont care la. ai.. put trust on someone , yet still something 'bad' will still happen de.. |

QUOTE(masao343 @ Apr 29 2009, 12:19 PM) come guys, lets "poison" him i have one of those installed. erm.. i do feel difference in my ICE improvement, especially for the woofer. The bass is more solid. btw how many of u guys actually installed these "voltage stabilizer" things. does it really have effect when compressor turn on, or with headlamps? they can be kinda cheap but i wonder if it adds anything at all. just my opinion. Headlamps improvement.. not really notice it, since i din take note before installation and after installation. but IMO, if you have grounding cables, this voltage stabilizer should be useful to normalize the spike in voltage created by sparkplug ignition and sudden voltage drop due to compressor kick in. just my 2 cents. QUOTE(masao343 @ Apr 29 2009, 03:13 PM) throttle body - that silver colour thingy with injectors? TB, the one is beside the fuel rail.engine head (near timing belt) - i think know where... ignition distributor - where is this located? thanks... fuel rail is on top of the injectors. TB usually is silver color, below it is the manifold(?) that looks like 4 piping joining to the engine block. Ignition distributor is the part that all ignition cable plugged into it. |

QUOTE(BlaBlaBoy @ Apr 30 2009, 12:19 PM) 节气门,油门 节气门,油门 节气门,油门Added on April 30, 2009, 2:08 pmi think it is called 油门, because carburetor is called that way, and since carb and throttle body acts the same function. so, no prob calling it a 油门 lo.
