My jasper is less than 2 months old from the manufacturing date, but that day when i play gta4, i felt with my hand, and the console was quite hot even in an aircond room...man, i hav bad experiences with my old xenon model, really scared, everytime I played some graphic intensive game, i would touch on the console just to feel the temperature...and to my recollection, it doesnt feel as cool as i thought it would be

Hi! If I plugin a 20GB HD (from Falcon set) on to Jasper Xbox 360, will it still run or it will show the error E68? Seen like some owner having problem when plugin the 20GB HD on to the Jasper set.

i just wanna confirm something abt 3rod shitty...does it happen if the xbox is very hot? i mean does the problem prone to heat matter? i have a jasper set...just brought it like 2 weeks ago...seems to be ok, but is kinda hot and manufactured at 09 april...with 512 memory inside...

If it's too hot it'll show 2RRoL only.

3RRoD is due to faulty digital backbone and the problem might caused by anything responsible to make the xbox360 run properly including power, harddisk, DVD Drive etc etc.

Most common mode of failure however is solder connection breaks & this is caused by faulty chip packaging design which had less tolerance towards thermal stresses. i.e. Off/On too frequently

i jus get my xb360 arcade jasper set last sat...i plan to buy 20gb hdd next week...however will E68 occur when i put that new hdd inside my xb? hope to hear from you all soon.thanks

I hav a jasper, and I'm using a 20gb hard drive drive from my old xenon model, I didnt get any E68 error, and from my knowledge, E68 usually happens when there is not enough power going into the console, it will usually frequently happen if u r using an accessory that shared power with the console, like an intercooler without its own power cord. However if u claim the error only happens when u insert the hdd, then I believe the true problem lies with hdd itself and not the console.

im using jasper set too manufactured on 2009 april also... playing in my aircond room from morning to nite between that time got shut off completely not more than half an hour but still doesn't feel it was getting any heat.... so far so good atm...

same here...play like 15hours straight..no heat ...mayb just warm air at the back console
hope it will never give any trouble in the future

If mine broke, I could just get Jasper, wont be a problem if my cousin or friends come for a visit,
I kept limiting a 3-Hours straight everytime for them, haha feels dem bad
Of course it never work as planned for friends, they dont want to stop, more than 5 hours sometimes, Just gotta watch.. and pray that no 3Rod appear
