Speeding doesn't kill. It's the sudden stopping that kills.
A sad and tragic story., this is serious. Serious Talk

Takes years for the case to settle. Like the case in PJ, section 14. Car jumped kerb and killed someone at a mamak. Still on appeal, I think.

QUOTE(aurora97 @ Mar 16 2009, 05:48 PM) most likely criminal case alone will take around 5 yrs, civil case another 5 years... Yeah. Takes a long time. adjournments, sisatan police, visit crime scene, etc... each and everyday the parents will be reminded of their children';s loss either because being called up by the courts, lawyers or police... there will be no closure until than... and both sides will continue to live in pain and guilt for yrs to come. There was a case, 4-5 years ago. Pajero or some 4-wheel drive, jumped across the highway and landed on the other side. Woman driver survived but she took out two guys. The guys were with the armed forces or something. Last I heard, she was charged but then no updates on the case. Or maybe just not reported. It takes a long time......too long. |

I usually wait until I am sober then only I drive. This might entail sitting for an hour or two something or in the car.
